One thing I hate that they changed for the worst was putting those three controls onto the screen away from the bezel at the bottom, but not reducing the thickness of bezel

Yes, W10 should be available for all WP8.1 Lumia phones apart from the Lumia 530 as it doesn't have enough internal memory.

WP10 is not as good as people are expecting. Slightly better settings and pull down menu - but I can't see much to get excited about. I have been testing it since July on a 640.

Edge browser makes a major difference, but for the most part I'd agree.

I'd think twice, even at this price, unfortunately. Windows 10 mobile just really isn't ready yet. Have both a 930, and a 950... just as bad on both.

Funny, I've got a 930, and apart from an occasional issue with opening texts from a notification, no issues at all here.
It's different to 8, but I'm getting used to it now, and starting to prefer it.

i've got 950 with windows 10, its not polished yet, i and as many other shave had on the windows forum some battery drain issues, a update was pushed out yesterday but it dosnt seem to have solved the major issues. Im looking to get one of these for my daughter as she has a 535 at the moment and camera is not good

550 camera is nothing great either and sadly there are also some OS issues here. Its more down to being new than anything else though, so I expect them to be ironed out soon. There are a LOT of ways in which Windows 10 Mobile is better than Windows Phone 8.1 but because the latter was more mature it was a lot more stable and useable IMO, once you get over the new polish :man:

Love the Edge browser, but I preferred the way you could 'back' out of everything before, rather than having the tabs always there until cleared.

What do you mean? If you want to close the browser, just close the browser... you don't need to close all the tabs... Just hold the 'back' key, then click the x on the browser...?

Fought that mobiles from cpw are unlocked regardless of network you buy it with at least was in a past. Cashier would bring unbranded box and sell you one of the payg sims.
