Doesn't really bother me as long as its decent, If you think about it they have some very harsh profit margins, if they don't do this they cannot stay around or give you value for money. Its only ever at the till and it doesn't get in the way.its the same with poundworld, they have to sell a lot to to make what just one £5-£10 item transaction in another shop take. they have to pay for delivery drivers who constantly restock, staff and they make alot of their products yet they sell the items for £1 so this more than a pound thing keeps people in jobs and keeps the company going.as long as it doesn't expand into a whole isle of more than a pound i think its fine.

I understand they have tight margins. I don't feel sorry for them though, they chose their business model. If they didn't want to sell things just for a pound, they could be a shop like Poundstrecher.
However Poundworld got into loads of trouble about it with trading standards, selling TV's I think it was a short while ago. Poundland never did. Now trading standards seem to have given up. Just doesn't seem right to me.
However, I am sure the teddy is nice :innocent:

Bought one. For £3 you can't go wrong as it appears well made. Preferred the darker colour. Nice stocking filler.

poundland actually don't make that much money in a week from the promotions as people would think, poundworld is also doing it .. I think its just to make a little bit more money to the stores .
