I was in Lidl Exmouth about an hour ago and overheard a member of staff explaining to a customer that the following would be half price tomorrow.
New Zealand Venison Haunch currently £19.99
Easy Carve West Country Lamb Leg currently £14.99
New Zealand Venison Wellington.Currently £19.99
He was explaining that the joints would be about £8. Didn't have time to do the maths so unsure if they are all different weights, therefore varying in price or are all the same. I asked about the deals and was told that it was 'insider information.' No idea if this is National but guess it could well be.

Glad you posted this info.
I popped into Lidl on Thursday and bought a haunch of venison. They had a few left, and lots of the Venison Wellingtons.
Had the venison yesterday instead of turkey - it was delicious! Extremely tender and a good flavour, and hardly any shrinkage. (I've previously had venison steaks or diced venison in a casserole, but never a haunch)
Also got a 1/2kg rack of Scottish lamb for a little over £3 (just in case not enough venison) and that too was delicious.
Cheers, OP. Heat already added.

had a 2.2kg 3 bird roast from Asdas frozen section today that we bought for £6. It was delicious and fed 6 of us comfotably. Now that was a bargain.

picked up a leg of nz lamb today 30% off - there were loads. Also got a rack of lamb which was reduced to around £3 so quite good. Saw the venison haunch and wellington but no one but me would eat it so I left it.

Aldi reduced legs of lamb, easy carve ducks and bronze turkey crowns (all fresh) to half price this afternoon (around 3pm) at Llantrisant, with accompaniments like gravy, bread sauce, sausage meat balls, mince tarts reduced by 30% - I imagine any remaining stocks of these items will be further reduced tomorrow.
I like Morrisons on Christmas Eve, might try Lidl too, but we got treated to Christmas dinner cooked for us tonight by my sister-in-law as we have no cooker, so we might just have chinese takeaway microwaved on 25th - easy peasy

What if everyone returns their Lidl Roast Joint purchases from the last 2 days for a FULL refund and re-purchases the product at half price?

The kids have been so exited all day because I told them that a jolly fat man with reindeer was coming soon.
You should have seen their faces when the butcher turned up with the venison for Christmas dinner.
