I sent it back in the end, too much hassle. It's odd as if you search nobody else online has this issue, and LG support didn't have a clue apart from linking to LG Bridge. Unless your into flashing your own firmware then I would say get it refunded!

I have flashed the latest marshmallow update.
Manually, but all is working fine.
Don't Need bridge or LG even if they have blocked it.

Don't buy this, phones are blacklisted by LG as they are realising where the origin is now. Can't do any updates on this phone so stuck on V10A, with no OTA updates or LG Bridge working.

Having recently purchased this phone, LG have confirmed that it is a European model. However, I'm having problems trying updating software using LG Bridge (mac) and via the phone. I wonder if this is what B1000 is referring to? I have sent an email to LG in order to find out. Has anyone successfully updated their software after purchasing from smartfonestore?

Thanks it does seem that the band used by O2 is the one typically missing from the US variant of the Samsung S5, I had to cancel my order when I realised it was a US import. I wan't sure what a EU version could mean, in that respect.

With these being an EU model will it be ok to use for all the 4G bands in the UK...? In particular for GiffGaff. I remember seeing a Samsung Galaxy 5 for sale there but it was a US model and thus would not work with 4G for GiffGaff.

Off the top of my head O2 and therefore giffgaff use band 20, 800MHz which this phone supports, therefore I think it will work fine :sunglasses:

These will be back in stock today, you can set a stock alert on the site if you are after one.
Has anyone with one of these got the Android 6.0 update yet?
edit: Please note this is the Euro version which doesnt have a UK charger & no headphones. Not sure about the spare back that the UK has either. Phone is identical in everyway to the UK one. (Same model)

Bargain price for a brilliant handset as it's now my daily, as a corporate EE customer these cost us nearly £360 each new so £100 less is rather tasty! :sunglasses:

Great phone, although struggling to upgrade from G3
Cheap and heat! Price has dropped pretty quick on these phones but can't see them dropping much further in the short term.
