Have to agree some of these are definitely 'used' my phone is fairly good no scratches on screen but a couple of light marks on the back. I just registered it with LG though and it appears it hasnt been registered which is good. I emailed and asked for a discount and got 20%.
I did take the earphones out of the box though to find they still had someone's earwax on them. That was quite unpleasant - but for the price its still a good deal.

Same reason, lag on the Nexus 6? Android seems to be getting a bit ridiculous, octa-core, 64bit, massive RAM, and still slow. Never like Apple, but starting to wonder now...

I've just returned one to Amazon after 3 months. It is potentially a fantastic phone, but it has terrible lag going between apps. Also, it overheated occasionally which had a major effect on battery life. I could live with the lag as once in your in an app its fine, but not the poor battery life. I would say that the over heating issue only started happening in the last few weeks. I assume it may have been an app, but a factory reset didn't cure it so back it went. Now have a Motorola x play and (so far!) its been a revelation.

I am torn - I have my venerable LG G2 that is probably the best phone I have ever owned (and I've had a lot) but feel I want to move up. I can't decide if the G3 is worthwhile or the G4... It's still at the price on Amazon - I just went through the process and deleted.

I felt exactly the same and still have very fond memories of my G2 (especially when running Cyanogen)
Thankfully I skipped the G3 and G4 and got a Galaxy Note 4. Not cheap but it is a worthy replacement.

Go for the G3, G4 is good (great camera) but G3 is still great.

Wait for the LG V10 it looks great in the reviews, I'm thinking of getting one on import.
The wife had the G2 (now has a Moto G 2014 after the G2's unfortunate meeting with the concrete) and I have a G3. I really like the G3, but I wouldn't say it's a massive step up from the G2. Also, FWIW the G2 feels more comfortable in the hand.

Has anyone got their Warehouse G3? What condition are they any in? Any marks at all on screens/backs?
I'm really tempted. Nearly £50 less than cheapest new price.

I received my supposed 'very good- repackaged' a few days ago but it had three deep scratches around the edges like it had been dropped. the back looked like it had been used a lot i.e. 2 months worth. i have returned it but bear in mind amazon only refund £3.99 for return delivery which only covered half the cost at royal mail with tracking.
I do think it is pot luck as another user says.

My girlfriend and I both have these. We use quite a lot of apps so perhaps this is why mine is quite laggy and the battery runs down quite quickly. For example, I've been up since 6.30 and there's about 55% left now. I haven't even been using it that much as I've been sat at my desk on the laptop. By contrast, I have a Sony Xperia workphone which seems to last the day but then again that could be the lack of apps running in the background.
It's a good phone and a very good price here but if you're not in a rush I'd wait until after the G5 comes out. Perhaps the G4 will drop in price significantly then and I think that would be a decent upgrade on this.

It's pot luck with Amazon Warehouse so regardless if others have a good or bad one yours would be unique to you.
Considering their Customer Service is good there's nowt to lose really.
I bought a Note 3 for £239 and it wasn't as described and didn't have the accessories so they gave me a 20% refund.

yeah I read those reviews too. I am by no means a heavy user and have used numerous Android phones.
It seemed to me that the deep sleep mode on the g3 was amazing when not in use it would go several hours and the battery would only drop a few %. when in use the battery maybe did drop slightly faster than other devices but the standby balanced it out.
I take my phones off charge around 7:30am and by 10pm they are usually 20% or less.
always had to overnight charge to keep me going the next day.
The G3 I had however would last all weekend off a single charge as I have minimal usage due to being at home on my PC.
I was rooted using bumped TWRP, AICP Rom, greenify and amplify. loved the phone the screen is beautiful. I would be jumping on getting another if I could afford it.
the only problem with this phone is the headphone port. it does not like headphones without a mic or aux cables. had to workaround with soundabout and force audio to wired headphones to use an aux cable, was very annoying. Bluetooth is the way to go if not using a mic enabled pair of headphones.

Having a G2....which needed warranty work, I was looking to upgrade and purchased the G3 in a recent amazon offer. I actually prefer the warmer colour production of the G2 over the G3, however the HD screen is amazing on the G3. The G3 doesn't have a solid feel to it in my opinion. I agree that the battery life isn't great and it can become a little warm but I haven't experienced any lag that others have mentioned. My advice would be to stick with the G2 for now but if you are itching to upgrade then skip the G3 and get the G4. A little more expensive but worth it.

Great phone I hear but I don't really have the patience for mediocre battery life. Rather have 1080p and good battery life

I found its battery life amazing. The only android phone I could get a full day of use out of and 2 days+ of standby on weekends. Had to return it when I changed jobs and now I have an S4 which is horrendous Samsung garbage.(even without touchwiz)

6 left. Seems quite easy to return if it is not as described. Shall update on the condition when I receive it in a few days. Heat
