16GB storage is very little nowadays, with storage-hungry apps and the OS that will take up a substantial amount of space. The micro SD could help to mitigate, but I don't think you can download apps or content from the web straight to the SD card (I'm not even sure you can put apps on the card now) - I could be wrong on that one though!
That being said, for what you're getting here, this is an outstanding price. Heat from me.

When this gets Android 6.0 you can use SD card to combine with internal storage to create what the phone views as one huge internal drive for everything. Some reports suggest performance may take a hit, but others say it's fine as long as you use a fast card.
So spend another £15-£20 on a 64GB micro sd and once Marshmallow is released early next year it would effectively have 80GB total internal storage.
A few places suggesting that 2016 may see a shift from the anti SD card approach from the the big manufacturers. About time!

That's interesting, thanks for sharing. I have a 32GB micro SD sitting around that could be used for this purpose. I'm not sure why manufacturers moved away from expandable storage, especially Android phones which usually have the advantage of customisability. It would be good to see a return to form!

Do you want a phone or a phablet? Flex2 is only marginally smaller than say Note4. But Nexus 6 is in a league of it's own in terms of size.

No idea. Sorry. I tried to find info, but with so few devices with external storage running Marshmallow there's not much out there yet. If you're Googling it, I believe it is called 'adoptive storage'...... I think.

G4 is far better phone imo (having tried both). And certainly worth the extra £50 - provided you can get one from the Vodafone offer. Not worth paying £100 more if you were to buy somewhere else.

Definitely resolved (I have two of these).
BUT the phone has been throttled in certain situations to achieve this.
It's not as quick as it was... but it's no longer like having a tiny sun in your pocket either.

never buy LG.we bought one last December and last week the screen started flickering.its a well known issue with lg phones.vodafone will not fix it because its a couple of weeks out of 1 year warranty.

I have my LG G3 for about 6 months and my wife LG G Flex2 for 3 or 4 months - both brilliant phones with no problems at all:)

I'm pretty sure they can't automatically get away with that necessarily any more - have a look on MSE.com for more info. (IIRC especially if in contract)

this phone is deffinetly the best phone i have ever had.sold my note 4 four month ago and purchased this off eglobal.the 32gb one.everything about this phone is fantastic and the price is brilliant.just expansys are not a briliant seller

I've had both this phone and the G4. LG have implemented a very competent and virtually seamless way of managing data between internal and SD card.

Depends what are your priorities .. if camera and "customizability"... wait for H815, as G flex 2 uses LG G3 camera and it bootloader is locked (so no custom rom's /cyanogenmod).
Otherwise you should be happy with both.

My wife has a G2 too - the 32GB European version that Expansys were selling a while back through Rakuten at a steal, but having a lot of trouble updating it to latest firmware :/

No, but if it has a year warranty, and it's been over a year, I wouldn't get all bent out of shape about it.

Good choice, the one thing that isn't that good on this phone is the camera in low light. The G4 will do a much better job in this regard. :sunglasses:

Think I might have to. The tool just crashes every time on W10 and I've tried all the tricks (running as admin and compatibility troubleshooter). Actually having quite a lot of issues with W10 on my laptop and wished I could still roll back, but many of the issues appeared after first month.

Going back to the LG flash tool, I think there is a button on it which makes it crash/hang. Going back to my hazy memory, its the button you may press before the flash button just to see if you phone is connected etc.
