What's not to like, shame Intel graphics are so weedy but for older games this be fine. Build quality will likely be better than others in this price bracket Asus acer HP etc

This is the 4th gen gpu which is pretty rubbish. My laptop has the 5200u with Intel 5500 and it ain't too bad, plays elite dangerous at 1080p just fine, left 4 dead 2 and GTA IV.

well this isnt really a gaming laptop is it, nor is the gpu for gaming even though they will play most games on this fine at a standard res.

Hi jaydeeuk1...this isnt meant for gaming.....I have a i5-4670k and r9 200 desktop pc for gaming and that pretty much plays anything on max settings even tho its 2/3years old.......but purchased the HP 15 i3 4005u, 8gb and 1TB laptop from JL over Blackfriday for £249 with the 2 years warranty and its more than fast enough for your standard user who just wants internet, music, movie streaming, word and light multitasking....anyone that needs a laptop for just these things, anything higher is just an overkill and dont need to pay the extra.....

For anyone that missed the cheaper Amazon or John Lewis deals over Blackfriday...this is pretty close and seems a good deal...

Hi deejay22......I've linked a youtube video(below) of minecraft on a i3 4005u and you should be fine with this spec!:wink: I wouldnt expect to play any demanding games on this laptop as its more for daily tasks..(internet,word, streaming etc) but you should be able to play minecraft without any issues....

Hi cpfc...not an expert but just ordered a similar spec laptop and just trying to help!:wink: yes, this would be more than enough for internet, streaming movies/sports, word and light multitasking. My order has already arrived from John Lewis which was a HP 15 i3 4005u, 8gb, ITb, so spec is an almost perfect match to this model and its more quick enough for the things you need it for....as long as you not interested in playing demanding games, this is perfect for streaming movies/sports and surfing the internet.....A few of us on here were able to pick up the £249 deal from JL before they sold out but £279 is still a good deal.....if you did want a newer processor (I didnt need one as the i3 was more than enough for what I needed) you can pick up a HP 250 g4 which has a i5 5200 processor, which is a little more power for just £20 more(link below) but in my opinion but if its just for streaming this spec should meet all your needs...
