You should add the fact this is the 10 year to the description - makes a big difference

Excellent, I've run out of TCP :man:
Seriously though, my modest Whisky collection is missing a peaty variety. Time to part with more money..

Got a bottle a couple of weeks ago when it was £26.50 at Asda.
Can I justify another bottle...?

I've never tried disinfectant but by no means is this worth space in the drinks cabinet. Bland, no character. So it's a single malt which proves not all are great.
I'm no whisky snob but I'd turn my nose up at this.

If any whisky can't be called bland it is this one. It is an acquired taste but one of my faves.

The one thing this can never be described as is "bland". You may not like it but it certainly is anything but bland.

The Marmite of the whisky world, I just happen to hate the stuff! Good price for the lovers though

I dislike the robust peatiness of this islay. It sent me toward a bad way of thinking peat was a bad thing but when combined with other elements of flavour peat or smokiness can work brilliantly. For me this drop has no balance or overall character other than being quite a one dimensional and room dividing whisky! That being said... my best friend loves it. There are plenty of other islay whiskies with similar levels of the smokiness but with sweetness coming before or after which for me makes for a much more pleasant and enjoyable drink. either way I've voted hot as this is a decent price compared to normal.
