I was given one of these (or very similar) to fit by a customer. The worst quality thing I have ever had the displeasure to fit. The spout has way too much play in it, chrome plating is really nasty, and it just has a really cheap feel to it.
You can get a decent Francis Pegler for under £40, or the ones that pop up regularly in Aldi/Lidl for £30.

at least one side of this will be hot if not cheap bargain

I currently have this in my kitchen, and it is terrible. Quite flimsy and the teeth on each of the tap heads have worn, so they are loose. At £9.99 its not expensive, but best going elsewhere, sorry OP.

Thank you for the guidance, I was thinking of rushing in to buy one but now am going to pass on this 'deal'. Once bitten, twice shy in my case.

Fully agree. Well worth spending more and getting a pegler/Bristan tap in my opinion. Will save hassle in the future.

I'm on prime so postage was free. I guess non prime members have to spend 20 quid for free postage.

Ok cheap but poor quality, you will end replacing after year or so, not worth the hassle.

What a coincidence! Got up this morning to find the kitchen basin tap was stuck solid, so straight out for a new one. It's all fitted any working now and has cost me £70 in total for tap, tools and bits of pipe.
Wish I'd seen a deal like this.

Baring in mind how much a sink is used in a family home, putting up with a poxy tap is frustrating. Will be changing mine in the new year. Merry Xmas and a Tappy new year to you all.

The grammar polise are constantly in the watch, even this christmas Eve, for every missplaced typo - lest your eyes be offended by wayward apostrophe's and por spelling. Merry Christmas! and a happy new year

We had this tap and removed after a year. Handles went loose, the tap had too much play and we are in are in a hard water area so the ceramic blocks got clogged causing the tap to drip. Cleaned it up changed washers still dripped. Maybe OK for the money but personally would spend a bit more to get something better

Brill deal, just what I need as mine has started to look a bit shabby. Ordered. Heat from me!

One my 2nd one in 4 years in my flat. Replacing any of the parts works out more expensive than just buying a new one. Buy cheap buy several times.

My mum has this dripping away in her kitchen.
It is cheap but it is very poor quality.

Bought one from Trago Mills at £33 as they looked good, the cold lever fell off after a year so I bought another at £12.99 on Ebay. Ok if you do basic plumbing and fit yourself if that helps

The weakness of this type of tap that use ceramic discs is that the discs themselves are delicate and easily break. We have a Blanco kitchen mixer tap, which wasn't cheap, and I've had to have two new replacement cartridges and I'm not impressed.
