Think this is a decent deal, Mine arrived on Tuesday with UPS (ordered Sunday evening) I think the fake coals and glass front looks nicer then most of the portable gas heaters. Combined with the 23.99 butane bottle from gasdeal.co.uk its worked out pretty cheap for a decent heat source in the conservatory.

thanks, bought one and it will sit in a corner until the flooding takes the electricity out for days. flogas regulator 21 bottle costs £36 so total price is excellent.

cheers for that...i use the calor 15kg bottles so am hoping theres a 3rd setting for the back cover haha.
Do you need a different regulator for the 13kg bottles.?..i am paying £32 for the 15kg so the 13kg at £24 is a far better deal.

Sorry pics are not great. I expect the 15kg bottle will fit ok - that's the size its supposed to be for. The regulator that came with mine works fine on the 13kg bottles, it is just a standard 21mm butane regulator AFAIK.

It depends on the size of the bottle, it has an adjustable back of sorts. I guess with the small bottle it wouldn’t protrude at all but the 13kg bottle it means the back cover is on the second setting. It maybe makes the fire about 6 inches deeper but the bottle is still covered by the back cover. I'll try and get a picture tonight when I get home.
sounds like a bargain....gonna have to go for it ....cheers o.p. ...err...is there some kind of door on the back or is it just open?

Open by the sounds of it.....
Question: is the back of heater straight or slightly curved
Answer: slightly curvy to accommodate the gas bottle
By fergie on 06 September 2014
It's curved and if you use a large bottle it will stick out quite a bit.
