I posted this in another thread but don't know if people check it. If you guys bought stuff from the Amazon Lighting Deals I suggest you check the current prices of the items you bought, many of them are now reduced than the deal prices, some of the items affected I have not received yet :O
Once you find them, speak to Amazon and ask for a price difference refund.

never ask anything to the council, they got plenty idiots rules very often or when you ask always give a different name and address. Any problems always say it was there already. Anyway, use the common sense in this case and always make sure that it is not fitted at an easy reach of anyone otherwise will be against the law and you could be liable for any damages caused.

Even if it is visible you could still be held liable under Occupiers Liability Act. If you choose to use it you will need to have clearly signage displayed as a warning to potential intruders. Taking regular photographs of the fence and signage are the best thing to do to keep as evidence to show you have done everything you can to prevent someone from harming themselves. I don't agree with any of this but it is the law.
