jokes aside, I have one of these and would recommend. the fixings are a little fiddly and took a few attempts before I was happy with the fix, but overall very good - especially for the price.

Lol, have a read of this, I'm not quite sure what to make of it. Still flush with the lid up.
According to Charles Gerba, PhD, a professor of microbiology at University of Arizona in Tucson, flushing the toilet with the lid up is not wise. "Polluted water vapor erupts out of the flushing toilet bowl and it can take several hours for these particles to finally settle -- not to mention where," he says. "If you have your toothbrush too close to the toilet, you are brushing your teeth with what's in your toilet."When this aerosol of contaminated water is ejected into the air, it lands on everything in the bathroom, including your toothbrush. His research found significant quantities of microbes floated around the bathroom for at least two hours after each flush.
Best to keep the toothbrushes in the cabinet in case a child or a guest flushes the tiolet without the lid on and covers everything in the bathroom with fecal microbes!

Disadvantage:
- Static effects (i.e. dust sticks on the material), not scratch resistant
- "plastic" look
- often very lightweight (but therefore also cheap)
