Not voting either way. I normally just go to Asda, pick up 3 cans of value Kidney Beans, 3 packet soups, a Fray Bentos pie, mincemeat jar, some Werthers Originals, Cheesy Footballs, value Brandy Butter, a clementine and some nuts. Put them in a bag. Take bag home and simply put Sellotape around the bag. Voila, individual, wrapped, creative, personalised present. (Pro-Tip - turn the bag inside out before placing goods in there, so it doesn't look like an Asda bag, but home-made crepe plastic. )
*Only downside is the extra 10p you now have to spend on a plastic bag. But, it is Xmas. And she is my wife, so deserves that little dose of luxury.

Don't like the fact John Lewis are charging for Click & Collect now. Probably still overpriced at £22.50, but undoubtedly a deal over the original price. Will keep an eye out in the other hampers, as sometimes better overall value once reduced enough.

No need to be nasty Im not having a go Im just saying an alternative. This is a great saving and worth posting and will look expensive because its from JL. However not voting either way because its expensive in relation to the contents.

Reviews or review? seems the only review as a problem with the lack of a lid and cant wrap the cube. Says the contents are "nice"

Plenty of hampers to choose from, including the chocolate cube. Saved me the dilemma of what to get for the parents this year. Hot from me.

Not voting either way. Made my own food hamper its so easy. either buy a basket or get a box decorate it with nice paper, bulk out bottom with paper, add gently scruntched tissue paper. Add whatever contents you like. Add a few bows, drap a few bits of thin ribbon. Use a large amount of cellophane to cover either flattish on top or pull up and tie with elastic band then add a big bow and giftcard.
Its so much cheaper, personal, and easy. Bits can be obtained anywhere like cellophane Lidl, Tiger, Wilko( check still in stock) craft stores or even florists. Tissue paper, bows etc BM or HB, G&T Range.
For more posh gift get a basket from the range and decorate with black and gold theme.
You can make as cheaply or expensive as you want tailored to the persons recieving it.

The wine alone must be worth at least a tenner. Of course it's worth £22.50. A nice storage box to boot!

Good saving from the original price and a quick last minute gift for the in-laws if thats what's required.
But as pointed out above making your own hamper is loads cheaper and more fun and the recepiant then gets what they like to eat.
We do one for my Mother in law. The basket was actually a JL hamper we bought her years ago. We pick it up and fill it with stuff from M&S, and local deli's, food markets etc getting loads of local produce so helping the local economy too. Probably spent £50 and its fit to bust, no padding required to make it look full!

Hardly anyone, hence why they are now heavily reduced!
That cake alone is "worth" £15 - £20 I believe. Wine I'm assuming £6-8 per bottle. So certainly a good deal if you're interested in this kind of thing.

Picked up my hampers and impressed with both. The winter warmer is in a lovely wicker trug so I'll get loads of use out of it visiting friends allotments
