Agree with the other comments - this is a really enjoyable film, great family entertainment. I have wondered why it rates so poorly on the movie review sites, it's got a great cast, decent story, fantastic baddies (human and giants), superb effects, doesn't take itself too seriously and the ending was pretty good too! Sort of a Princess Bride / Robin Hood Prince of Thieves (without Costner!) vibe. Take a chance!
