I'm really tempted by this, currently have a 5S 16GB and its nowhere near enough space for me, constantly having to delete apps. Think I'm going to hold out for a similar 6 Plus deal once the 7 inevitably comes out though as I wouldn't mind the extra screen space

In all honesty what do a few scratches matter? If you're worried about scratches then you'll put a case on it? Thus covering any scratches that were there. Or you could enjoy it without a case free from the worry of scratches.
People praise how well designed iPhones are and yet rather than enjoy how slim they are and how they feel in the hand they cover them in plastic and rubber. Although admittedly this latest batch aren't that well designed and without a case the camera protrusion is a disaster waiting to happen so best put a case on it.

I'm fortunate to use both the premium Samsung offering (personal) and iPhone (work) and there are pro's and con's with both. I'm not sure why you feel the need to 'convert' non-believers of Android but if it makes you happy then that's fine with me.
I've had android for many years but my next personal phone will be an iPhone 6s.
It does pretty much everything my sansung can do but also looks and feels FAR more premium than the plasticky Samsung handsets.

I've used both Samsung and Iphone equivalent models for most editions over the years and whilst I feel like there is plenty to admire about the samsungs especially the new edge I still genuinely cannot (personally) see how anyone would prefer the overall experience on the android. Each to their own obviously. Still don't get why so many people feel the need to troll Apple deals - smacks of jealousy

Always amazes me at how Apple users have no concept of what's out there and that Apple is the creator of all things smart phone. Case in point, my mate - Apple this and that - loves apple, 7 years with apple... I persuaded him to try the Samsung S6 Plus Edge - he couldn't believe the tech and features and ditched is iPhone. Sure, if you're really into your apple that's great, I am happy for you however you're being taken for a ride...
I will say they make some of the best laptops but give it a year or two more and it'll be a laptop that can't have its battery changed etc etc... so you're stuffed and they can milk even more money out if their sheeple. :-)

If all the tax evading companies paid the billions due it might bring lower income tax to the likes of us NN
Just sold my boxed iPhone 6 64gb for £380. I used it for six days having come from a £150 LG G2.
If you're into the iOS eco system then it's a good price, and I've voted hot however, value for money, it's not great really considering what's out there.
Apple seem to milk their customers by providing phones with minor upgrades year on year and announcing 'amazing', 'revolutionary' and 'outstanding features' when it's nothing more than marketing speak.
I was astounded at how poor the iPhone 6 was and features hence it went on Gumtree.
Of course if you're an apple through and through you won't know any different however I urge people to explore alternatives. I've owned every iPhone bar the 5 and 5s and I've not looked back...

6 Dec 15#66
Only if they have replaced any parts with non-apple traceable parts, e.g. battery etc. Most of these so-called refurbs are cosmetic refurbs and a full system reset and wipe. I doubt they go through the expense of replacing parts.
The Apple refusal to accept warranty liability would be same if you replaced Apple parts with non-Apple parts. Yes, I do know most of the parts inside an iPhone is not manufactured by Apple but you know precisely what I mean.

I agree with your first two points, but I think you're mistaken on the last one. I've had a number of iPhones from eBay, used and 'new' (i.e. purchased on contract by someone else and sold on). Have never had a problem with warranty as the warranty is linked to the Serial Number and date first activated (the registered owner can change). Have exchanged quite a few. Even had a Malaysian iPhone fully covered by Apple. Your experience may be different but no one I know has ever had a problem that you describe (unless the handset is stolen or reported lost/stolen, then you're at the mercy of the justice system).
I do know that warranty is usually meant to be for the first owner but most companies appears not to be that restrictive.

And don't forget your private police force and fire service, couldn't get by without them as ordered society crumbles around you.
After all all MP's are spending all the tax on expenses anyway, right? So if each of the 650 spent £25,000 a year in expenses (all evidence suggests this is not anywhere near universally the case) then thats £16 million. Thats 0.002% of tax receipts for the year.

6 Dec 152#22
Anyone wondering how the price is so low, this is because they are based overseas but have their stock in the uk and fulfill orders from fulfillment warehouses. As such the overseas business is required to register for UK VAT as they are making supplies in the UK but they don't register. HMRC are aware of this issue but do nothing. The majority of deals in consumer electronics are from such tax evaders. So you buy from them on eBay, not a penny of tax goes to the treasury on the sale and ebay's fees are diverted to Luxemberg so not a penny of UK tax paid on those either. Genuine tax paying UK business just cannot compete against these tax evaders.

I ordered one 10 days ago when they were out of stock and it was dispatched 3 days later, probably won't show in stock very often as they take orders and ship them to those who have ordered them. My one came in an apple box that was shrink-wrapped to look like new - i read the reviews on the refurbished 5s that apple said that they came in the apple box so I took a punt that this one would too and it did.

Be very careful with refurbished iPhones there are a load of scammers out there and after buying 3 iPhones over the years bought one as a present for one of the kids and will not buy from eBay again. Sellers refurbished can mean wiped with a cloth and resold, or even as a seller tried to do to us, classes it as new other which actually was a phone made up of refurbished parts and with an mini iPad serial number. If you aren't bothered about issues updating or having Apple fix them then go for it but for us just too risky. You might as well get one of the o2 refurbished for this price.
