iPhone 5/6 USB charger good quality as bough one two years ago and still going strong. Better than those pound ones which don't last even a month. Keep the receipt anything goes wrong within three years return it and get refund.
Important to note that this isn't actually a deal for a charger. Just a cable.

I have Poundland ones which are ancient and still working fine. Luck I guess.
I'm going to Lidl lunchtime to return a faulty Power Bank thing, returning stuff to lidl is a pita.
I'll have a look while I'm there, thanks OP.

the Aukey ones at Amazon are quality for £1.99 btw, got a couple last week :o)
Plenty of colours available - green, blue, white, black and I think pink as well
Picked one up myself as the cable looks nice and thick which means it would be more resistant to snagging or bending - the Poundland Mobitek ones break easily.
Weird reviews on that one, some saying they can't contact the seller yet it's still on sale? I assume that's Amazon mixing up reviews which isn't helpful

Put a couple of quid more into it and get a braided cable from Amazon, they're really sturdy and not wrapped in the rubber/plastic coating. I got one from Amazon ages ago for £9 and it's 2m and it's still going strong. Here's one from Anker

Is it the actual charger or just the cable?

I've just come back from lidl, these were in on Thursday and there are none left today in my local lidl.
They seem to have got in hearing aids and magnifying glasses instead.

I only use the certified ones now as I think there's a chance these dodgy chips they use in the cheapo ones can damage the charging circuitry on iOS products. I had one iPad battery swell up and an iPhone battery die within six months as I used to like keeping all my accessories new and in the box, and use cheap ones day-to-day. Not any more.

Bought 3 last year.
One didn't work from day 1.
One broke in a week and
One lasted a month.
