From empty, I've transfered a 1GB file in 90 seconds through a USB2 card reader. On Windows 10 the transfer was a stable 10-12Mb/s. Copying back from it took a 57 seconds and again the transfer was very stable ~18Mb/s

"2 For" offer is good value. Not the best price/GB but there are plenty of gadgets which don't fully work with cards above 32GB, so these are the biggest you can use perfectly in some devices and are worth a small premium for that.
I know you can format larger cards using PC software and get them to work but... I was using a 64GB card in my dashcam, and found upon reviewing footage that around 1in10 files were corrupt and would not play - no foul-ups with a 32GB card - and no it wasn't the 64GB card)

i wish the write speeds were quoted often cards have decent headline read speeds and pitifully poor write speeds

I've used this card before. Fast! Good deal. Just ordered four even though I don't really need them after the Argos, Sandisk 64Gb UHS deal at £9.99 a couple of weeks ago. Be too late for delivery as stocking filler.
