Because if u need to make a claim, they will only provide parts if you use their repairers which charge around £60+ per hour in labour. So if you ever see parts only... best to stay away from it...

Don't touch Hotpoint or Indest appliances with a barge pole. They truly are awful. I had an expensive large drum washing machine and it went wrong just over 12mths old and completely broke down under 2 years old. I've had my replacement Samsung machine longer and no issues at all. I had a Hotpoint fridge freezer and a design fault made the door hinges give way and the doors dropped off at 12mths old and finally the dishwasher broke down at 2 years old and the replacement part broke down a month later. The same fault, plus other issues including a leak which made it live and give an electric shock have finished it off in under 3 years old.

If people refused to buy poor quality machines, it would force the makers to produce better quality machines with long warranties that include parts and labour.

With more competition the cost of properly made machines might go down.

I believe its a fixed price of around £130.

make sure its not on the latest recall list !!! hotpoint,creda and indesit check the website first as seen on itv yesterday !!! cos mine is on the recall list in danger of catching fire

my insisit won't spin the clothes properly and now the commuters has gone. it flashes random lights.
it's a coman fault. I rang up to say its broken and they said is it flashing? I was shocked

I won't vote but Indesit are poor & will break down in 2 yrs as mine did.

I think it is 10 year parts only and does not include labour.

cheap.... but wouldn't recommend it unless u r really struggling for cash...

for £299, u can have a much higher quality machine from Samsung re-enforced by a 5 year parts & labour guarantee, and more energy efficient, saving water and electricity costs for the life of the machine compared to this...
