went for it, £7 there abouts its great for these games, i feel i kinda of owe snk it. Ive played them all on emulator years ago and never payed. But they are great classic arcade games. Really wanted a neo geo as a kid but at £120 a game in the the 90s there was no chance.

Voted hot, but the lack of steam options on most of the games is a little bit of a disappointment.

**** hell, people really are slaves to the Valve machine. Well, if you really want them to dominate with their woefully underdeveloped (and bug-riddled) client, you'll ultimately get what you deserve.

Went for the $10 bundle, I figured I played the roms so much back in the day, I at least owe SNK that. One nice thing is apparently these games are simply a basic emulator front-end on top of the original roms. So if you want you can pull these out and put them in to your emulator of choice. Nice. Also the soundtracks are available in FLAC format, pretty sweet.

Excellent, thanks for posting. I went for the $10 bundle. I started collecting for Neo Geo AES, MVS, Hyper Neo Geo 64 and Neo Geo pocket a few years ago. I have quite a few of the games in this bundle but some are priced way above my current available funds:( These are same great games, and I seem to play them more than anything on PS4 at the moment
You wouldnt get much change from £10,000 when buying these on an AES, heat from me! ;-):stuck_out_tongue:

Crazy huh? First console I bought when I started work was the neo geo console.. Remember paying £225 for the samurai showdown cart, at one stage metal slug was fetching £1000 when it went out of production.. I Think I would faint at paying them prices now..

Steam works great as a digital distribution platform - the competition is poor, hence why so many people are a slave to Steam.

The browser concept is quite brilliant, but the sound is awfully choppy, and the game is a jerky. Has anyone had better success from the browser method?

What's the quality of these games like? Not the content, I know they are great games, I mean are they decent ports, running in some sort of emulator or something?
malachi to johnieutah

They run in a emulator apart from games with Steam keys which are ports of the console/non arcade versions.

Because there are no steam keys you don't need to pay 64p for the basic bundle you can just pay 1p

The non steam game function is practically useless, it's basically just a link to the game .exe. You therefore lose all the benefits of having steam in the first place (achievements, community, add ons, etc) and if you move to a different PC you won't be able to download it through steam either.
DRM free games are fine but I don't know why they can't be on steam too for people that like the integration steam offers. Seems like SNK have taken a very half arsed approach to steam with some of their games on there but then many more inexplicably not.

Thanks, always play these on emulators such as Mame but I like to pay companies for their work too. This is a perfect way.

This is so tempting but the lack of Steam support pretty much scuppers it for me. Much as I love the games, I know from experience that as 95% of my PC games are on Steam the non Steam stuff just gets bought downloaded and ignored, sad but true, have lots of great classics on GOG but I have so much newer stuff on Steam they just don't get a look in. Too many games, not enough time.
Still great deal and heated!

Back after some testing. Chrome on Mac using a Dualshock 4 will work partially on some games. Some titles like the Metal Slugs you can't jump on so you can't progress. Tragic, would have loved these for the browser. Would have been better than writing bitchy comments on newspaper forums when I want to procrastinate :man:

Interesting. If I buy this can I play all of them in the browser when I feel like it?
