The link only shows phones costing £489 plus at least a £10 top up? Even the 32GB version is more expensive, plus the 64GB is on "pre-order"??

These are on pre-order it seems. No telling exactly when they will be in stock from what I can see either. Still it's an excellent price for a really good phone and it's the larger storage capacity too. I paid £440 for the 32gb version a month ago so this is definitely hot if it was in stock, but pre-order with no eta is a cold from me as stock for the 64gb model especially has been shaky since release

They were doing a similar discount on the 5x 32GB last month, but only on O2 pre-pay. This seems to apply to Vodafone and O2.

30 Nov 15#9
Ah! So you need to have an O2 number already to be able to do this? Not sure I completely know what the upgrade is all about?
Currently I am using a Three SIM only contract, is this something I can continue to use, but order this phone?

Reached the credit card entry step (step 3 of 4). Did not ask for a payg number.

30 Nov 15#11
To qualify to purchase the phone you will need an active O2 sim. CPW send you a text message to the phone with the O2 sim card in, you then enter this code, along with the serial number printed on the O2 sim card and the website will check if you qualify.
I used my fathers PAYG sim, I personally am on Three.

Im hoping it isnt locked to O2 though.... but as its CPW... i think it may not be.

Genuine question, what's amazing about it? I have a Galaxy S6 which you can buy for less and is a superior phone in specificaion. Maybe the battery life is awesome on this phone? This phone has the same weaknesses as the S6. I guess it's for people that want a stock experience.
Got mine today beat phone I've owned for sure and I had all makes in the past

I just moved from the lg g4 to the nexus depends what u want In a phone. I have always preferred stock android but that's just me could be different for someone else. Could have stayed with the g4 its better value at the moment for the money I would say.

I'm confused. I'm on ee but through to final stages of purchase without having to give any info about my o2 account. I'm buying on mobile... Its showing £419. Question is, as I'm not on o2 will it still work?!
ec9wrr
30 Nov 15#24
Ok solved. It won't let you purchase on mobile site. Presumably because it knows it hasn't checked if you're eligible. Shame.

Would love to use this upgrade for this discount, I tried my friends SIM code who is with O2 but was not eligible for an upgrade and I may have reset his upgrade if it had been eligible!
Putting this here on the off-chance that there is anybody with an O2 or Vodafone sim card who is due an upgrade that they won't use, and would not mind allowing me to use your SIM code for this upgrade.

You do know half the stuff in your living room is likely from China right? Even the Iphone is made in China by Foxxconn? (designed by apple but made by foxxconn) This phone is considered the best android phone in the market right now by all leading publishers and online journalists in the gadget space but we should ignore that....because its made by China?

SD810 this close to SD820s? I'd rather wait another 2 month. Xiaomi mi 5 here I come! Rumoured to be around £150 less than this price too.

anyone got an idea on what their return policy is like online?
I saw this but i've dealt with CPW in the past in store and they're not so happy about returns.
What can I do with my phone and still be entitled to return or exchange it?
You can turn the phone on and try it out. We recommend you don't save anything to the memory of the handset until you are sure you are happy with it.
This really is a good deal, isn't it. I was considering a 32GB 5x for £350 with £100 worth of Rakuten Points, two weeks ago, but this almost seems like a no brainer with double the memory, higher spec, with just £60 extra. I'm just a little worried about the size, as I'm currently owning a Nexus 5.

Spoke to a person at the CS just now and they said not this week. They receive their weekly deliveries and only nexus 5x was on that sheet. So, unfortunately, next week at the earliest.
Thanks OP for pointing this one out.

Mmm I CAN'T argue that that S6 is a really good phone and maybe even a better phone if you get it cheaper then 6P. But... Here is the thing.... the 6P simply provides a better overall experience in day to day usage. And then there are software updates and stock Android.
That's the beauty about Android as a platform...
Bet together, not the same
