If you're buying this printer because of the cloud printing functions then beware as the HP ePrint and Google Cloud Print (which just piggybacks on the HP service) do not work at all well on this unit. Stuff takes many minutes to print if it even prints at all (jobs mysteriously go missing).
If you have an Android device you can buy an app called 'PrinterShare' which works much better with this printer than any of the official Google or HP apps. Your device must be on the local WiFi network same as the printer though.

Great printer and it also supports wifi direct so you don't need to go via any other service if you don't want to...

I have had this model of printer for a few years. Good quality black and white prints. The cartridges are cheap to replace (Look for the cheap ones on ebay and amazon).
I have found the wifi printing to be erratic but perhaps it is due to my home setup.
No problems printing directly from USB.
I have a colour printer as well which I use for the kids school work when colour is really needed but that drinks ink like there is no tomorrow. Unless it is the final proof for school, the kids use this laser printer - the toner is cheap and seems to last for ever

Can anyone recommend a decent colour laser printer with toner that doesn't cost a month's salary please?
Thanks mk3 - I am really tempted - might ask family folk to chip in with cost :sunglasses:
I wish printers had better colours than black or grey. I actually covered my current inkjet with pretty paper to upcycle its appearance.
