Started watching the series again on Netflix. Even better the second time round. True it is the same formulaic approach in nearly every episode, but really you watch it for the banter House has with everyone else around him.

That's a shame, in later seasons it becomes much more about the people than the illnesses. Some of the best television of the last 10 years.
The season 5 episode "Simple Explanations" was a standout, with season 6 opener "Broken" being one of the finest episodes of a TV drama I've ever seen.

Or sarcoidosis? (it's likely that is spelt incorrectly...)

I like the one where it's not lupus.
Seriously though there's SO many shows where you could say if you've seen one you've seen them all that are still popular; just because a show has an established formula for its episodes doesn't mean it can't still be good (and House is very good imo).

"That's every episode" ... That was the joke. Flying over your head.

Keeps popping up on amazon lightening deals for £34.99. Got mine last week for that price.

Heat added, struggled a bit in the later series but i am glad i stuck with it and thought it had a very satisfying finale.
It was a Brilliant series and much better than a lot of the garbage on right now. Great price for a lot of TV. Heat from me.

Once you've seen one, you've basically seen them all.

I like the episode where somebody has an illness which sounds really straightforward, but it actually turns out to be something really complicated which can only be worked out by Hugh Laurie being an **** to everybody.

My view precisely. Very formulaic and somewhat predictable. Watched the entire 1st series, no desire to watch any more (even though I also have 2nd series).
