What about the time you save washing?
It costs you 50% more time in labour

You cannot compare a 7kg machine with a 11kg machine surely?

I don't quite follow your calculations there but never mind. This is my first deal posted and I believe it is a good deal as the next cheapest I can find on the web for this model is over £50 more. If you want this model then it is a hot deal! On the other hand the machine you mention is a good value machine but you can get it for £179.95 + £14.99 delivery from Sonic Direct. If you're going to diss my first deal then at least diss it with good deal

Or in my house my fella will just mucky up more clothes purposely and justify it by saying it needs to have more clothes in the washer before I switch it on :disappointed:

Just be cautious with parts only warranty. I had one like that with hot point...I had to pay £125 call out fee!
Told them where to get off

I have this machine and it's great, although I paid a tad under £300 when PayPal were offering up to £50 off an eBay spend about 7,8 weeks ago?
Anyway, anybody who tries to compare this with a 7kg machine is a total fool. Have some heat

Sorry but I voted cold - in my experience Hotpoint machines aren't the most reliable and there is only a 1 year warranty with this at the price quoted (I know parts are free for 10 years but labour can be VERY expensive!).

Your right, Hotpoint always come out poorly in tests, I'm finally replacing my Hotpoint with the Miele I posted, this a good looking machine but would have to extend the warranty to 5 years.

so you only wash 5 days a week, my machine is on 7 days a week, the mrs aint happy unless the darn thing is turning I think, this would save so much time and well over £25 in 6 years, hot from me

hotpoint were on `you and yours` a few days ago because of fire risk.
although faulty machines can occur with all makes.
Probably worth adding that there is the option to upgrade the warranty to five years for £79.47. Handy for those who like the reassurance of a warranty.
This seems a lot cheaper than the other retailers as well

Had this for a year. Wash times are incredibly slow even on half loads. The countdown timer may as well not be there as it lies! Good price though, around £25 less than I paid.

your previous Hotpoint was probably made by hotpoint, that factory is closed now and all hotpoints are now just rebadged Indesits.
