I had these for a present the silver ones and I only were silver of gold and they have not had a irritation wearing these lovely earrings.

Very true, I was going to order a pair for my wife but I don't think she'd appreciate the weeping scabby ear problem either.

By the looks of it in the description they appear to be just silver coloured not real silver.
One of the reviews also says "Over all good value for money and no irritation to skin even though they're not precious metal"
