got mine last week cane with back plate hanging off all glue undone and it wont turn on either.still havent heard back from expanseys about a replacement.

Exactly the same for me too. I have contacted them and they are meant to have sent a returns email. It did not turn up and they are saying they are having internal issues.
There seems to have been too many examples of this for me to recommend anyone else risk it.
I contacted Motorola as well in the hope they would replace it, but they said that they would not and to go back to Expansys.
That was after I tried to push it back down. I also noticed someone else on the forum said this happened to them, but it was after they charged it for the first time.

That's pretty bad....
I got mine on the last deal from Rakuten and have to say I find Expansys a brilliant company to deal with, directly or via a 3rd party.

Was the box properly sealed? Want to ascertain if it's faulty manufacturing or something that happened in warehouse or delivery.

I'm on my third return so good luck!
They take 3 weeks to get you a replacement.
I'm using my third, its over heating after 1 hour of use,/they have a fault with the speakers which make a crackling noise for few seconds.
If you do return anything , speak to Fiorella. She's the one who dealt with my third mobile and i received it after a week.
I think expansys sell dodgy mobiles. I'm put off by them. !
The Nexus 6 is a good mobile, think I might buy lg g4 now.
I'm just making my mind up for this one to be returned. I'm very confused and upset

Me too. Seems many wrote the N6 off purely due to its size, but boy is this a good bit of kit. The stereo out of the front facing speakers is outstanding. It a real stunner (if you get a good one!)

I had a google and it seems this was a issue when they first came out, check your IMEI numbers to see when your units were manufactured and see if Expansys is selling old stock from early 2015?

Cold. It has been cheaper many times if buying from rakuten with 10-15% off and upto 25 times points. It would be better to purchase from Moto directly for this price.

My mate bought one of these on my advice and went to update it to latest google version and it's Bootlooped! says it starts optimising apps and then restarts and he's tried wiping and factory reseting!
I've no idea about rooting and bootloaders etc and neither does he, anyone in here give any advice of getting it sorted or does he have to send it back?

Well iv sent them a email asking for a refund.
It's a disgrace and needs reporting to rough trader whatever.
Yes you will have to wait, if its faulty the delivery is free, but they will look for even the lightish scratch on screen protector so put a new one on. Look at one of my posts posted October regarding this.

just got the email saying in next few days il recieve details of when they going to pick it up and then another 10 days to inspect it and make a decision.well it looks like my son will have to wait to xmas 2016 for his nexus 6 might be updated to sara lee chocolate crumble by then tho looking on a positive side

Mine arrived in a sealed box, but is DOA and looks used and damaged. The screen has had a botched repair, there is glue around the camera and glue and scratches around the top of the screen, so there is absolutely no way this is brand new.
I have been arguing with Expansys about this for several days now, they have eventually agreed to collect it after a week of hassling them, and then they failed to collect it when they said they would. This is a total scam and Expansys customer service is an absolute joke.
It looks like I am going to have to go down the route of a chargeback with my credit card company as Expansys will simply not arrange for this to be returned in a reasonable amount of time.

after 2 pickup attempts where no one turned up as they gave Parcel force the wrong address twice, they told me to post it back to them myself and they would pay the postage.. anyone done this and got the postage back?

They failed to pickup with me twice as well. But they did manage to collect it on the third attempt.
I've asked them to change it to a refund instead of a replacement due to their inability to sort this out in a reasonable amount of time

I posted mine back yesterday manually. Will see how the refund goes, but good thing is when you do a credit card chargeback, it asks for whether you sent it back etc, so thought I needed to pass it on to them again.
I reckon your Points are fine, that is more a Rakuten thing than a Expansys thing.
