I'd also like to know, but this information is absent everywhere I've looked, even Gioteck's site. Even if it's just 3A between the USB socket and fixed cables it could still be a good cheap Raspberry Pi + HDD PSU.

Genuine question - which batteries are these please? My sons are forever charging batteries and I'm fed up of them taking them out and losing them. Ones that stay charged for longer would be a godsend. Thank you

First thing we bought was a plug and play kit for the controller. Can't be doing with using batteries constantly. Second accessory was a second controller which came with a plug and play kit.
I don't understand why not included as standard but do like that they are user removable unlike the ps4 as often second controller is next to me but wire isn't for charging so I just swap the battery kits over. Something I can't do with the ps4 :-(

I don't use AA batteries. I use a plug and play kit which, like the PS4 controller, needs charging.

No need to be confused you simply recharge rechargeable AA battery's what's there not to like about it ? especially with the batterys you can get now that hold their charge for months so you can have one set on the shelf charged and ready to be used instantly after the other pair run out of charge rinse and repeat, far better than having to have to buy two controllers to be able to do the same thing if the batteries were sealed in.
Not sure about the charger in this deal though as it seems to use custom non AA battery's ?.

Are the PS4 and Xbox one versions of this exactly the same, just in different boxes? I only ask because i have both consoles, and if they are the same then one will serve for both of them.

Would this faster charging still work if plugged into an extension lead? My brother claims it chargers no quicker than using USB port on the PS4 but idk might try it out but only have extension lead available.
