***UPDATE - Doesn't seem to fast charge as advertised***
A Samsung branded fast charger for under £8. Listing claims Qualcomm 2.0 quick-charge compatible so should work with other non-Samsung devices too*.
"Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 Technology: Charges compatible devices up to 75% faster than a standard charger, and other smartphones or tablets at their normal speed (up to 5 volts / 2 amps). USB 2.0-amp charger quickly charges compatible phones and tablets"
I'm taking the plunge for my Moto X Play :). Credit to Morgie for helping me stumble on this on another listing :)

I can only speak from my experience, but you may have trouble if you buy a Samsung fast charger to use with non-Samsung devices. As I understand it, Samsung's version of quick charging isn't actually standards-compatible - something to do with the voltage - and so you can use qualcomm certified devices with Samsung, but not necessarily the other way round. As it happens, I think OP will be OK as I saw on the web someone with a nexus 6 (also Motorola) saying the Samsung charger worked fine with it.
For my own part - my wife has the s6 and I have a LG G4; my G4 won't work with her charger, and it actually charges it slower than pretty much any other charger I own (I'm talking like 1% every half hour.)
If you want to be on the safe side, I bought an Aukey quick charger from Amazon for £8 only a few days ago - can confirm it works great with the G4

Cold from me I'm afraid. "Genuine" my make it sound authentic but to be honest there are too many fakes. "No Retail Packaging - Bulk Packaged" is just the nail in the coffin, yes I am aware products with packaging can also be fake.
Amazon has a great deal of "genuine" products that just aren't "genuine". Some are even "fulfilled" by Amazon. It would be nice if they check the stock/sources.

Anyone looking at the listing, may find this article about Qualcomm 2.0 quick charge helpful:
Have you actually bought one from eBay, at the link you posted? If so, what phone are you using it with, and does it support the fast charge capability?
Cheers.

Hi - their listing specifically mentions Qualcomm 2.0 compatible as I quoted which is why I took the plunge myself. See my my first post for more information.

Thinking of buying an Aukey for my G4, can you confirm that it's the one that's gone up to £10 now, available in white and black. Thanks

To respond to people saying charging is not faster with this and a fake, no-one so far has mentioned they are using fast-charge compatible Qualcomm devices? To help, please confirm you are definitely talking about a device that absolutely should fast-charge (model would be helpful). Thanks

has any one got quick charging working with there lg g4? i bought a power bank which claimed to be qualcomm 2.0... didn't work was slow... i wasn't sure if it was the phone or just a fake power bank?

Yes it worked when I had a g4. As for this deal, I'd rather get an aukey one for a tenner. This deal seems dodgy

Ironically I'd avoided the Aukey as it had mixed reviews for reliability and not a brand I'd heard of...
Edit: Actually, as a few are saying it's fake, I'm out!

It's a mix of 9volt then 5volt charging. Look at the image, read the specs. Come on, it's not hard. If your phone doesn't support the quick charge then you're only getting a standard 5volt @ 2.0amp charge rate. So you will ONLY benefit buying this charger if your phone supports fast charging - and not many do! Follow the link in the first post by OP to see for yourself if you don't believe him. :-)

Thanks for the list but it's worth noting as a caveat it's definitely out of date/US centric. The Moto X Play not on that list even though it supports QC QC 2.0. I'd be surprised if the Z4/Z5 don't support it either...

Fake, or I'll informed and assuming?
This is clearly a positive post, for a known quick charge compatible device.
I did not buy from there only compares the prices of third-party sellers. I use the Galaxy Note 4 which uses fast charge.

I have one of these Samsung chargers and can confirm that it does NOT charge my Moto X Style any faster than a normal charger. Like other commentators, I also purchased an Aukey Fast Charger and can vouch that it is fast at charging, VERY fast!

I have an Aukey one for my Samsung galaxy note 4. It works very well. It's got 4.7 stars out of 5 so not really mixed reviews.

Can also vouch for the Tronsmart charger on amazon. At £7, it's a few quid cheaper than Aukey. Definitely fast charge on my note 4.

I'm usually quite suspicious of products in Amazon and eBay that have a very long title (and often starting with the word 'Genuine'), as they're likely to be fake.

Always a little bit nervous about anything from a company selling via Amazon with the word "Genuine" in the title... Been conned a few too many times in the past (including a dangerous phone battery), although I understand with the number of fake goods, the words "Genuine" or "Authentic" may be used by true suppliers to differentiate.

I've purchased three of these Genuine looking fast charges from eBay and Amazon Marketplace few weeks ago and none of them seem to be Genuine as although it enables Fast Charging on my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and Samsung Galaxy Note 5 but when you check the current is not as fast as what you get from the main/genuine Samsung Fast Charges which you receive from Samsung. They are getting hot and you may hear a noise sometime.
I would suggest you buy it directly from Amazon which comes with 1 Year Amazon Warranty. Genuine Samsung EP-TA10UWE 2A Fast Charger
It's £5.25 at the moment for Charger only (no usb cable)
Hope it helps

These "Genuine" chargers are just nonsense. If it's not from a proper retailer then it's fake. Bought two different ones, had one die the following day, had one explode the moment I walked out of the room.

I have the aukey one too for my g4 and quick charge works a charm
Whilst it's somewhat dearer (currently on Amazon for £11.99) I can vouch for the JuicEbitz JuicEBrick charger: think I only paid a tenner for mine. It has two ports & outputs 3.1 amps (max 2.4 amps p/port). Nice bit of kit, although please note I don't believe it's officially Qualcomm 2.0 compatible, so not suitable for everyone.

So annoying that supposed genuine things but turn out fake and dangerous are sold so freely on amazon and eBay. The way amazon let's people list multiple things annoys me the most. For instance the charger in question links and then offers a load more sellers and then you can't go on the reviews of the item. They should add the seller at the bottom of the review so you can distinguish who bought from where.

In case anyone was thinking this is the same as what are in some of the newer Nexus devices - it isnt...
"Google’s new phones, the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X, support rapid or fast charging via USB Type-C and are capable of grabbing hours and hours of juice in just a few minutes of being plugged in. Unfortunately, this is not Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 or 3.0 technology, so all of the current QC 2.0 chargers you have been accumulating over the past year or so are basically going to be useless, at least in a fast charging sort of capacity."
So my search for a spare Rapid charger continues......
Doesn't seem to fast charge the Moto X Play at Christmas so I've asked Amazon to change the listing and am sending it back...

Same charger, same cable, same phone. No idea why! Maybe an update to the Moto X Play software is all I can think of.

I'm on Three. Just had a notification about a new software update which mentions quick charge updates. Guess you may have already applied?
The interesting thing I have just noticed is that the charger (or lead?) makes the screen stop responding properly when it is charging, both my Moto X Play and my wife's LG G2!
