I'm after an Xbone Elite, anyone know whether Game or Microsoft are offering anything off these - pity the exclusivity deal hadn't ended by tomorrow :disappointed:

Going down to my local game store this eve, a member of staff told me a few weeks back will be some storming deals. If this is all they have will be turning around and going home.
however as a back up plan I ordered the 2 x tesco deals the other day £289 for fifa, cod and BF. and fifa, TR and BF if Game is better will return. If not stick with Tesco, sell on one of the Fifa codes, trade in the 2nd BF for a voucher at CEX then wait till closer to xmas and will then get Forza 6 (miss the £28 deal the other day grr) and Fallout 4. Will have to top up a little but worth it.
This way my 2 boys can share the games and if they want there own copy then we can sort it out later. But atleast will have plenty of games for crimbo :-)

PS4 deal isnt that good compared to the Amazon Fifa + Battlefront deal (£168.99) because those games are actually worth some money.
Denonx22
26 Nov 15#59
They are both old bundles from a few months ago which have remained unsold and taking up warehouse space.

Black ops or Star Wars bundles would have been better. This is old stock now. Not convinced enough to be turning out at midnight for this and take my eye off the deals on the net.

So is this deal for just a black ps4 or will white he an option ?

Not really old consoles.
The Xbox that comes with FIFA 16 is the Generation C - manufactured this year.
The only difference is hard drive size, and you can get a 1TB External HD drive for less than the difference in price between a 500GB and 1TB console!

Id say you get a lot morer value out of the PS4 deal, those games are actually good. The Fifa XBOX is pre installed so you can't trade it. I imagine Goat Simulator and Marvel don't get much at trade in. Uncharted and Little Big Planet however in my opinion are endless games. You can keep on your shelf for years and always go back to. For the XBOX deal to be any good they need a better selection of games. The Battlefront Halo'esque offers from days back are better value in the long run.
WalkerboyUK to antray1984
26 Nov 15#47
FIFA 16 isn't pre-installed - it's a download code on a leaflet inside the box.

26 Nov 15#24
IMO not worth it
Happy with the Tesco deal @ 279 that I got this weekend
I know its only a 500GB console but got Fifa 16, COD 3 & Star Wars Battlefront as part of the package
Plenty of playability into the new year and selling Fifa will get me some money back

Wasn't that more of a glitch than a deal ? As Fifa wasn't advertised with the console but when Fifa was added to the basket it didn't up the price.

26 Nov 15#44
I know people are saying that you can get a fifa and star wars bundle for slightly cheaper but what if you don't want fifa or star wars and want uncharted and little big planet.
You may save £20-£30 but the extra hassle of getting the two games you don't want, trading them in, finding the two games you do want and buying them is worth that money, also you can pick this deal up tonight, most of the other deals are online meaning you have to wait about a week.
Not saying this is a fantastic deal but the way people brag about the other bundles makes it sound like there is about £100+ saving

isn't there no 1tb deals???
antray1984 to stiffy93
26 Nov 15#43
Black Friday is generally clearing stock but under a moniker that people get behind. 1tb consoles are the new thing so people are being less 500gb ones, so they are the ones being shifted. Same reason why old model 3ds consoles are getting the savings treatment. You will probably still get better 1tb deals now then at any other time of year, but I personally doubt there will be any "Lightning" style deals on them...... Im no expert though as I have never punched a person in the face at ASDA for a 50inch Poleroid TV, so who knows

Well thanks for posting op, saves me wasting my time tonight. I'm looking to get myself a ps4 but that bundle really ain't worth jack when you break it down.

Black Friday has to be the biggest con ever. Bought an xbox one 500gb with new tomb raider and fifa as a standard deal for 270 last week. When the rrp last week for tomb raider was about 40 quid, Im sure it's worth more then lego and goat put together. Whilst heat for the deal as it's not the same and not a 'bad' price. The fact that these are the 'massive' savings that turn people into savages is a test image to the state of the human race. Its like a 10er cheaper. Staff discounts better! Rant over...

26 Nov 15#37
It's been possible to get the console and games for under £250 for a while.
All about buying at the right time.
I paid £235 for the console when Rakuten had 25x SuperPoints week, which left me with £70 worth of points to spend on the games of my choosing rather than what the Retailer decides to put in a bundle.
So £235 for Xbox One, Forza 6 & Gears of War Ultimate Edition was a far better deal than this one...
daveonmako
26 Nov 152#25
Not a bad deal if you have younger kids as most bundles are full of games which are either 18 certs or online.

Amazon Lightning Deals have this lined up at midnight tonight as well - Sony PlayStation 4 500GB (Glacier White) with Disney Infinity 3.0: Star Wars Starter Pack and Tearaway Unfolded (PS4) - Showing at £364 at present, but no idea on lightning price
It's more that there have been better deals in the past few days for only about £20-£30 more. What makes this deal look so good is because it's £250 but both games you get are cheap to buy.

Yes it would be if it wasn't Black Friday.
The fact you can get Battlefield and Fifa for only slightly more (potential resale value of £70) really slaps this deal in the face.
