There is a little red devil sitting on my shoulder. He told me to tell you to buy another, swap it with the broken one and send it back. I of course told him that's very naughty indeed.

This is the best kitchen aid I have ever owned, spectacular results on a par with pizza restaurants. Jamie Oliver recipe for pizza dough, I make mine in bread machine. Also use his tomato sauce recipe. I'm no professional chef, all the family gobsmacked how delicious they are. Buy one you want regret it.

I ordered twice from amazon italy, both came in outer amazon box so no problem with packaging. as for the machine AMAZING PIZZAS, 5 mins to make the dough, passata with some galic/bit of herb for your sauce
and bang on some topping. buy one of these & check out some recipies for dough/sauce etc and you'll never phone for a pizza again (and save a fortune)

I would agree - best tasting pizzas can be made with these - if you go to the trouble to make your own from scratch they are as good as anything I've got from a restaurant.
I've found even shop bought pizzas taste far superior (and cooks in about half the time) Aldi chilled ones are pretty good :-)
Only problem I've had and is a pretty major one! The top heating element died in mine after being used (a lot) - I'm still trying to find a replacement part any HUKD users managed to find a replacement?

Totale pagamento: GBP 58.94, not £56.97, for me.
OK im new to purchasing from Euro Amazon websites - it displays GBP, presumably as i have currency converter switched on - so I again, presume I get charged in GBP.
If I switch it off, will i pay less Euros but then be susceptible to being charged by my Mastercard for the currency conversion ?
Just not sure how the deal is quoting around £2 cheaper - wondered if ive got the above facts right anyone ?
Cheers

Do not ever use Amazon Converter Service.
The Exchange rate is rubish.
Also MasterCard, Amex and Visa have charge £2.99 for buying goods with non pounds price.
Few cards do not charge that, the one is PostOfice Master Card but for other security reasons, Amazon.fr/de/it do not accept it.
£49.95 + £4.95 delivery charge = £54.90
Dispatched from and sold by JM POSNER.

Long thread with great advice from when this was posted a few months ago is here.
This is a bargain. I paid €95 for mine (black model) and haven't regretted it. Get yourself some 00 flour (preferably Caputo) and you will never buy a pre-made pizza again.
This is a pic of my first attempt that I posted in the thread I linked to

Yes, it does. A standard 13 amp EU to UK adapter I bought in argos is what I use with mine.

Be very careful with these, I had one and it's impossible to clean he base stone. Any leakage from the pizza or oil through it and it welds itself to the stone. Would not recommend.

22 Dec 15#26
Makes no difference what so ever to the taste of cooked pizza if the stone is marked. Impossible to stop cheese oozing onto the stone. Scrap excess off and wipe damp cloth. Just doesn't look very good but due to temperature it heats up to, hygiene wise, no problem at all

I'm with Jonahj on this one - our first attempt at pizza making was a disaster (we over -cheesed!) and the pizza stone now shows the scars, but it hasn't affected the subsequent pizza making one bit.
Awesome kitchen gadget!

Do you think the inside of Italian pizza ovens are spotless? Makes no difference whatsoever. Recommended.

Anyone tried making naan bread in these? I've got a pretty good method with a searing hot thick oven tray and a grill and it gets great results but an alternative for my friends who are a bit flimsy would be good to know.

Yep, my Mum made some the other day. Great tasting! However, only downside is that unlike the oven, you can only make one at a time (so can take up a lot of time!)

Recommended heat and time settings for frozen pizza?

Naans are great in it. That said a hot frying pan works pretty well as you don't have to do both sides at once.

If you mean home made sticky naan then I cant get it to work, it does not seem to get hot enough. I normally cook them under a hot grill and have to turn them over.

Yep - homemade dough. Works just the same as it does for pizza. Highest heat setting of 3 with the stone warmed up for 10 mins.

So you have to pre heat it, that makes sense thanks, the wife makes great naan mixture in the bread maker then i add cheese and onion or peppers, mmmmmmm

Yes - the usual way as for pizzas. Switch on and wait for light to go out/come on (can't remember which). Then open lid to allow to cool a bit until top element comes back on. Then add pizza/naan and close lid for 3-5 mins. Just finished a couple of pizzas now - lovely!

I love the pizza oven and make fab pizza and naan bread with it. I ordered one from UK Amazon for a Christmas present and paid £78 but it came with a Euro plug. Amazon wanted to send me a cheap adaptor but I said no way. Eventually they discounted it by half and I now notice that they have stopped selling them on their page due to customer problems. Looks like they must have been trying to flog a Euro batch for full price!
Anyway I am thinking of ordering another one at this good price but i've heard there is one that also has a plate fixed on the top rather than the element, anyone know anything?

Can anyone advise how they handled the plug situation. I was about to replace the Euro plug with a UK one by cutting it off but it looks like it is 16 amps.
How can it look like 16amps, 13a is the highest rate plug you can get. Mine had a 13a plug on it but people have used a shaver adapter or just put a 13a plug on it.
