Just popped into local B&Q to collect my £15 Christmas tree (Thanks HUKD) and asked staff if any other items were reduced. Was very quietly told that all Christmas items would be reduced this Friday.
Worth noting that a lot of there Christmas stuff looks to have been nabbed already (Wednesbury Store) and the Christmas display area is only half the size it was last week! Loads of lights, tree decorations, wreath's and the pop up trees (the £34 down to £20 ones ) left though.

Went into the Peterborough store this morning. No further reductions, same as the online prices. Still purchased a few tree decorations :smiley:

Popped into Reading store at lunch, went in to buy a light bulb, came out with £45 of Christmas decorations! Lots of stuff left, all heavily reduced. Worth a visit.

Went in this morning - 8 am.
Staff sticking clearance stickers on everything I could see. Mostly the tree decorations, but loads of other stuff reduced. The singing toys (reindeer, tree etc.) from another post are £6. Some lights reduced. The inflatable santa still £20 (reduced from £87). Not much of the big stuff left at all, but some tree's left. Pop up trees still £20 (reason I went so disappointed there), but staff said that further reductions likely on the leftovers, but didn't give any dates on when this will happen.
From the prices I could see and checking the web, it look like the prices are matching on-line and in-store at the moment. Hope this helps :stuck_out_tongue:

Not a duplicate. That was an official reduction. This post was to let everybody know they intended to make a further reduction to clear all of the remaining stock in-store. Did the same thing last year but I left it to late to bag any of the mega bargains. Did get some cheap tree decorations though :wink:

technically that's just lights, this will be everything else, though on past experiences every store will be different and you might find everything is gone when you get there Friday

She didn't say, but assumed national as its all the remaining Christmas stock. Looks like they were already gearing up for the Boxing Day sales :confused:

Yes...That's where a few of us spotted the £108 tree reduced to £15. Was looking for a wreath too, hence the discussion with the staff. Where the tree reduction was on-line only, this will be across the in-store stuff too :innocent:
