And remember, you can purchase a copy of "Big Jugs" magazine from the top shelf to hide your Daily Mail inside, to avoid embarrassment if you bump into someone you know.

Lego was 'with' the paper in the McColls I went to. You pick up your paper, pick up your lego if you want it. How different to snotty WHS. I was so pleased I bought 2 Wails. Then the spend 15 get a fiver off coupon is not bad either, especially as I now have 2 of them. 30 quid spend, pay 20 is not bad at all! But can I spend 30 quid in a McColls? 15 quids worth of Wails tomorrow, and 15 quid of Wails on Sat ...I'm going to have a lot of lego!!

Local McColls told me to buy the paper to get the Lego and come back in an hour later with the coupon, ended up with two
Felt dirty buying the rag though.

It's the ninjago river speeder today, just got it. Batman joker hovercraft tomorrow, Saturday its either a digger or off road car. Today with the Lego ninjago voucher you also get £5 off £15 spend at mcolls too. You would really want to hate the daily mail, hate mcolls and hate Lego not to bother with this.

Interesting and confusing. Here there are several, they used to be called Martin McColls.
The nearest one to me is now McColls, the other is Martins. So the question is, if McColls is the convenience side (it actually says Convenience Store on the shop (3 miles from me) will it sell newspapers? I suppose it must do, as the Mail ad is saying go into McColls. On the other hand, Martins is just a mile or so from me - they do obviously sell papers, but will they have the Lego?
Ah well, will find out soon.

I did a wiki as I honestly had not heard of them. McColls Retail Group is a British convenience store and newsagent operator, trading under the trading names McColls (for convenience stores), Martins (newsagents and variety stores) and RS McColl for stores in Scotland.
That at least did ring a bell with me, here in the West Midlands in Stourbridge I remember what is now WH Smiths used to be Martins Newsagents, then I believe it was taken over by John Menzies which in turn was sold over to what is now WH Smiths.

The last time mccolls did this there was no knowing which model was available on which day (didn't follow the stated order and some were totally random). It was a bit of a shambles but I guess that's because they are leftovers.

They'll be a random selection of what was left over from the last Smiths promotion, McColls have done it before if I recall.
