I bought one of these from Sainsburys and it is the worst Android phone I've ever had, very unresponsive to touch and very slow and laggy. Really wouldn't advise it for day to day use.

I went into my local ee shop & they agreed to make the £20 a topup on my existing number. It took absolutely ages to do, I'm pretty sure the offer is meant to be for a pack. I also went into carphonewarehouse as they have the same deal but they said the £20 needs to go on a new SIM and will be a pack, not just a PAYG topup. Having said that I've previously phoned EE customer services (don't use the new SIM or it will activate the pack!) and got them to switch the credit to ordinary PAYG and cancel the pack.

If you scroll down to the bottom there's an option that says "or just top up". Select £20 credit.

How do you convert top up credit to google play credit

Anyone figured out how to root this? I've tried Kingoroot, Baiduroot, Rootmaster with no success.

I got this in store, depending on what the staff has in mind you might get a couple of other extras on this if it doesn't expire by tomorrow. I got a Google Cardboard by EE and 10£ Google Play credit as they had an advert saying you get it (but I think they made a mistake as you only get 10£ Google Play with bigger pixi online) and could have taken 500MB for a year on a spare sim, but decided 10£ is actually more worth it as I don't really spend my data anyway...

The phone itself I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, if you have ever used a decent phone (in my eyes moto e or moto g satisfy this definition) you will hate this enough to make it unusable as a backup phone, I am even more scared of my phone malfunctioning knowing I would use this until I fix it...

That said after you root it and install Lollipop without crap (Google it there is allegedly something like this) it might become usable, but haven't had time to try it by now...

Got this phone yesterday, very laggy, you can choose the £1 per week tarrif 25 mis 50 texts ideal phone for a school kid or back up phone.
