Original claimed RRP is a joke and being honest when you factor in the delivery on this some may feel slightly ripped off when you see it, but as I said quite a useful step.

Never take any notice of Maplin rrp . Each Month they have a sale and reduce the prices of some items to what they should be , with the occasional bargain. I bought one of these steps at the lower price too and is useful for what it is. It is better to research what other people sell stuff for , before you think you are getting a bargain at Maplin.

I bought 2 on a previous offer. Well made, but the top isn't flat, weirdly it remains with a pitched roof profile. Not voted as cheaper previously

This design is much more stable than the mini step ladder type, eg on smooth floors.
