some advice for the men on the site or laidies with large wrists...
I advise you to check your wrist size on the fitbit website using their printable sizing tool (https://www.fitbit.com/content/assets/chargehr/charge_hr_sizing_guide.pdf)
I am male and have average size wrist and I bought a large size from Argos yesterday and upon reading the instructions for wearing, it mentioned that it is best worn 1 or 2 finger width away from the wrist bone or more if doing something like weight training due to the way it detects your heart rate
I am unable to wear it more than one finger width since the large size is too small, also It has a locking ring to stop it from falling off which I can not use for the same reason, I checked my size after I had bought it and I come up has a xlarge
Xlarge size is not available from retail stores has far has I know only from their website ....I just ordered one today and i am going to return the argos one I purchased
Check your wrist sizes using the link above form the fitbit website
lasuil to iwm
27 Nov 15#50
How many CM wide is your wrist? I'm worried my large won't fit because I believe you also have to have it slightly up your arm from the very bottom of your arm/start of your hand, the traditional place for watches.

These Fitbit HR are unfortunately ****. I've had 5 faulty ones in less than 5 months. HR is inaccurate and doesn't sync with strava and they always fail. Buggy and just go faulty. Customer service is great though I must admit. They just send a replacement out within about 10 days.

I placed my order not long after this deal went live and received an order confirmation e-mail thereafter.
However, I am now wondering if my order will be fulfilled as I am not sure if I was entitled to use the code posted.
Essentially, I'm wondering if the retailer will use this as an excuse not to honour the order as, a quick look on their website, shows they have significantly raised their prices.

My wrist is also 21cm, but I think that's about a fingers width up from the wrist bone. Hoping it will fit as not keen to pay loads extra for an XL from the Fitbit site.
iwm
27 Nov 15#59
Your wrist seems similar to mine, mine is 21cm in the same place has you
the problem you may notice when you get it is that it will fit on your wrist but you will be using the last few latch holes on the end of the strap and reducing even more has you move away from your wrist bone
there will also be a limit to how far you can move it up your arm without it being too tight or uncomfortable
the advice on the website seems accurate ....xl is for 19.3 cm - 22.1cm
large is 15.7cm -19.3cm !!!! ...... (doesn't cover 21cm)
fitbit have actually reduced it for black Friday but just by a little ...it was about £120 yesterday and now its about £96
I will be weightraining soon so will need it higher up my arm ...plus I am finding it uncomfortable, I think I am wearing it too tight, I have an impression of the watch on my skin after a couple of hours and the skin is also sweaty and discoloured, I need the flexibility of wearing it more loose so I need the xlarge whatever the price if I want the fitbit system ( I have already bought their scale Fitbit aria)
Fitbit also advises to wear it a bit loose so air can get behind it but for it to still be a snug 'but not tight' fitting ...I am finding it hard to do with this large size
lasuil
27 Nov 15#60
I tried the one on I bought from Amazon and the large does fit, I have 3-4 rungs left and can fit 2 fingers underneath

HappyShopper

MyActive+ is actually run by Core Fulfilment Limited on behalf of AXA Healthcare so you should have asked if they were authorised.

Did you check out twice using the code? It only took £10 off per transaction, so did two haha worked both times. I finally got a response to my email, this is what they said:
"Thank you for your e-mail. I can only confirm we are both an approved retailer and corporate partner of Fitbit. Fitbit are in process of adding our Active+ logo to their retailer page but due to the time of year Fitbit are very busy and it is taking a little longer than expected. We have been in conversation with Fitbit and they are reconfirming our status with their call centre and customer service teams. We have now stopped your order being processed and have issued a full refund as requested. This couldn't be completed until our warehouse had stopped your order processing. Gotta love this deal/thread - totally derailed by the in-securities (regarding authorised selers/warranties) of one or two individuals who have shot their load way too early.
Agree it pays to be prudent/cautious, but if you had taken delivery, left the package un-opened, you could have made more comprehensive enquiries safe in the knowledge you could have returned the goods within a couple of weeks for a FULL refund - if you paid by credit card, you would have had further protection from the card company if something did go wrong.

I was told, by the official Fitbit customer email address on Friday last week that they myactiveplus/core fulfilment weren't an authorised retailer. I was just passing on what info Fitbit gave me. However it is the case that myactiveplus are an authorised retailer but Fitbit were not up to date with this. I've now received my Fitbit from myactiveplus. I never encouraged people to cancel their orders, just gave them the info Fitbit were supplying me regarding the warranty.
