Bought it last week for 39.99, been playing non stop since. Contacted amazon about the price drop and I got a 10£ refund, dont hesitate, this game is easily 100 hours+ of entertainment

Gutted I bought this for near £40 on release :smile: so far pumped about 80 hours into it, its basically new vegas pt 2. little things annoy me about it like for example you cannot throw grenades in VATs anymore (or atleast i havent fiigured it out) also the story is a little meh, the difficulty is abit of a joke once your over 30 everything dies in only a few hits if you have the right perks set up and chew some chems even if you turn it all the way up. As someone who thoroughly enjoyed Fallout since they came out on pc many moons ago this new iteration feels a little stale and thus far I have encountered a few bugs the funniest was disappearing to the bottom of the wasteland in my power armor suit xD

its still not a bad game but it shouldnt be scoring anywhere near those 9 out of 10 marks some of those gaming mags are giving the game at most id give the game a 7.

Not bad for a glitchy game! I've finished the main missions and quite a few side missions on it now. Probably had 30 hours on it

Without writing a story and ****, in a nutshell if I enjoyed TLOU and nothing else w.r.t single player games should I jump the gun and buy this?

flubit is a joke sometimes. submitted demand for this and it came back with instant saving of 4% so used 100 points to get a proper offer from them within 10 mins. after 10 mins the timer just kept resetting and when they eventually came back, it was only 2%!! Even less than the instant saving amount! Seriously? What a waste of time. Good thing I just ordered it off Amazon.

I think the best and most review/score is GiantBombs.who gave it 7/20 on console and 8/20 on PC.
Those who give it 9 are insane or more likely economically trigged.

It was more like 3/5 and 4/5 respectively (which they don't consider as equivalent to 6/10 & 8/10) but yeah I agree mostly with their assessment (I'd have given the PC version the same 3/5 - it has issues of a different variety). Don't get me wrong, it's a great game and I've had fun, but with new gen hardware, the major bugs/drops and general 'bethesda jank' we've had to put up with for 10 years should have been taken care of without offshoring that work to modders.

Anyways aside from those issues, it's not a bad deal for a pretty good game.

Can't fault shopto either. Ordered 3pm Friday, arrived Saturday morning,

Put 20hrs in on PS4 and the only issue I've seen of note is being stuck in some geometry and had to fast travel to escape.

Way way less glitchy than Vegas on PS3.

I noticed that about grenades. I wonder if you have to hold down the grenade button and then hit vats button? Will try it.
The game is not 100% perfect but I think it is brilliant, can't put it down at the moment. It can get a bit samey but I think some of that is down to the player. It becomes what you make of it in a way, and how you play it has an affect on how enjoyable it is.
