Here we go again with people hitting cold for no reason at all. This is a hard to get item, that has now come back in stock. Rather than a collector pay £100+ on eBay they can pay the price in which the Pipboy was released at.

Probably! Game's policies on stock is a F****** joke. I almost got sacked from selling a Xbox 360 on launch to a friend (for face value) rather than ripping him off by making him pay an extra £200 for games he didn't want.

Or it could be to do with the fact that GAME **** up tons of orders and never resolved them. I wouldn't buy this from them if you can help it. Mine turned up about 2 weeks late and was damaged.

You don't get the season pass with it. There was a video review where a guy said you did but he messed up. The thing he pulled out during the unboxing was an advert for the season pass. I've got the pip boy edition already and can confirm it definitely doesn't have a season pass included

so glad I didn't buy the pip boy edition after actually getting my hands on one at the weekend. Seeing it up close it looks cheap and made of plastic, Easily breakable. but with game and season pass it's not a bad price. Yes i am a collector still wouldn't spend £100

It is just an advert in mine and in the ones of the other two people I know that got them. (1 UK PS4, 1 UK PC and 1 FR PS4) (And in any unboxings I've seen of the edition, and of people talking about it on collector's forums that I've seen.)

I pre ordered this and just kept the game because I wasn't impressed with the quality of the pip boy at all, looks nice if you're after it to use on the stand. Sold mine for £99 so got a free game and season pass essentially.

Moneysavingkitten liked hers so much that she wasn't happy when the poor pipboy fell apart. She returned it for a refund in the end. So expect it to just be something that will never be used and needs sitting on a shelf.

I have it and I think it's worth every penny. Just how many other Pip Boys are out there for sale? It comes with a stand and sits proudly on my computer desk.
Shame it's GAME though. I was one of the many who they messed about, they will never get any of my money ever again

I have voted hot. But you can get the French version on amazon for a bit cheaper. Only the pipboy manual is in French as well as the season pass advert. I don't understand where all this new stock is coming from. Bethesda said they could make no more of these about 2 months before the game launched.

Saw this and it looks like a ridiculous joke, very cheap and plastic. Also I wouldn't buy from game on a principle. Their customer service has been horrific recently. They used to have some emo frumps in store working for them but my local ones have the most miserable and downright rude trash you start to feel uncomfortable as soon as you walk in. There's always a thick atmosphere in these stores. It's a wretched and disgusting place. Ugh.

Saw in Game yesterday that they were selling the Halo 5 limited edition at £149. The sticker pretty much said "we know it's ridiculously priced but someone will buy it!". Is that their marketing tactics now?

I'm sure people do have a reason, you can easily pick the base game up for £30 now making the pip boy £70. Given the general reviews of it have been it's a tacky and easily broken piece of disappointing plastic, that is a lot of money and not what they would call a hot deal. We all know collectors will pay over the odds for things, it's just the rest of us who are inclined to think they're a bit crazy (in a nice way) for doing it.
Or, to put it another way, post anything on here which isn't classed as a collector's item at RRP and it will go freezing even if it is the lowest current price. Most people will not differentiate the two types of deal.

I voted hot on this, as I agree with the previous poster. However, that Game had a fresh batch of stock in after the initial hype around the game has subsided, leads me to believe that these will be available cheaper than the RRP sooner rather than later, so I'm going to hold off buying for the time being.
