If I Can Dream: Elvis Presley With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra is a remarkable new album featuring classic Elvis vocal performances with brand-new orchestral accompaniment, along with a duet with Michael Bublé on Fever.
An exciting revisit of Elvis’ work, ‘If I Can Dream’ focuses on the iconic artist’s unmistakable voice, emphasising the pure power of The King of Rock and Roll. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London, the 14-track album features Elvis’ most dramatic original performances augmented with lush new arrangements by The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. “This would be a dream come true for Elvis,” Priscilla Presley says of the project. “He would have loved to play with such a prestigious symphony orchestra. The music…the force that you feel with his voice and the orchestra is exactly what he would have done.”

The best singer that's ever walked the face of the earth in my opinion.
Don't like all the changes but worth it just for the subtle changes to the title track; superb.

Been a big Elvis fan since I was little.
I expected to hate this as I don't like people "messing around" with perfection.
But I really like this...bought it when it was half price download,so this is even better price.
You can't change the vocals of the best singer ever, but you can enhance the music, and I reckon it's been done very well....I expect there will be more albums to follow.
Liked it so much I also bought the vinyl lp version.

Don't forget though that although you have added to your library you can only listen to it as long as you are a prime member. If you let your membership lapse then you lose it all.

Take it you've heard the "laughing" version of "are you lonesome tonight" as I did find that very amusing :stuck_out_tongue:
Hadn't got round to getting Live in Vegas yet but have just discovered it's another freebie on Amazon prime music so grabbed it and will have a listen later...cheers for the heads up :innocent:

Hi, Thanks ever so much for your help as it really is very much appreciated...I am a prime member but have never bothered looking at the music or video side of things as just took out prime for the free delivery side of things as I was sick of trying to make orders up to £20 to get free super saver delivery and there was only so much unwanted tat I could buy to make the orders up so eventually figured I'd be saving myself more than I was spending if I took out prime
Must admit I'm an Elvis fan (thanks to my Dad being a huge an when I was growing up) and have been quite impressed with this latest offering.

Its a great album. Couple of strange additions (like Michael Buble) but for £2.99 its a steal.

If you have amazon prime apparently this is free...going to sound a bit thick here but no idea how amazon prime music works as only just started out with prime but saw it come up on item page for the CD with total of 0.00 for prime users so have added it to my library and don't seem to have been charged anything for it.

Im presuming you are a prime member. If so, then you need the amazon prime music app, I have the android version on my phone, you can get it for iphone, windows etc. Just download that, sign in with your amazon account and the king will be there to listen to on your device. You can also download songs and albums direct to your device for streaming offline which is good in theory but lately has become a pain
Hope this helps
Btw listen to "an american trilogy" on this album
