This won't be for everyone but just had this email from ebay which basically says the below : -
You've been a great seller this year, so we're rewarding
you with 100 free listings and 75% off final value fees!*
Hurry, offer must end 8 December 2015.
HOW THIS OFFER WORKS
This is an invitation-only offer direct from us to you, so we’ll need you to register
to join the promotion. Do this by clicking on the ‘Accept offer and sign in’ button
above to validate your account.
*Important terms and conditions for the final value fee promotion:
• Valid until 08 December 2015.
• Invited private sellers only who actively opt in to the promotion. The offer is not valid when forwarded to others.
• Additional listing fees excluded.
• Single quantity listings, not for items autorelisted during the promo.
• Free listings in this promotion do not count towards your monthly 20 free listings.
• Listings in second category and below standard sellers excluded.
• Selling limits apply. Click here to learn more.
Hopefully this can help some of you clear some of that clutter and the added bonus that ebay won't be taking such a large chunk of your sale price!
last time they did 50% off I didn't get it, does the item have to sell in the time period or just lusted in the time period?

Did you check your seller account,if you list something that sells with the discount it says promo in your account activity.
You have to make sure you opt in & also multi-quantity listings don't count.

I got this; yet I do not recall selling anything at all on eBaY whatsoever this year.
Nice to know they see me as a "great seller" nevertheless, though :smirk:

I don't really get these posts. To my mind, they're not really deals, just a suggestion to check your inbox, and I can do that without having to be reminded

OMG this could not come at a better time for me!! Listing £2k worth of stuff this will save me a fortune!
Just had a chat with EBay so fully understand T's and C's:
1. Only items that are listed AFTER YOU'VE ACCEPTED the promotional offer will count. If an item you have already listed sells inside the promotional window it won't qualify.
2. You have until December 8, 2015 at 23:59:59 to list your items
3. This is the best news.... ITEMS WHICH ARE LISTED INSIDE THE WINDOW AS A 30 DAY FIXED PRICE AUCTION QUALIFY FOR THE DICOUNT!!!!
Today is a good day

^ Should have added:
ITEMS WHICH ARE LISTED INSIDE THE WINDOW AS A 30 DAY FIXED PRICE AUCTION QUALIFY FOR THE DICOUNT REGARDLESS OF WHEN THEY SELL (Well - inside the 30 days)

Look in your Ebay account at the bottom of your selling page the promotional offers appear there so if you've been sent it you can accept it there.

Can someone post the actual link in the email please.
Thanks for the link. I sell maybe 20 items per year and wouldn't have noticed this. Took me straight to my account to accept the deal.

Finally an eBay deal that actually really saves money for sellers.. Their final value fees have been the biggest reason I stopped selling things... the second was them taking away sellers ability to give negative feedback

Hmm typical no email promo for me. Just a regular ebay buyer that sells perhaps 20 items a year but I'm about to list over 500 pounds worth this week so typical I get no offer. So cold from me. Good for those who got it though eh
Deb8z - thank you so much! I would never have known to look there and I have and I can get the offer too. Thank you

go to the my ebay page,
click on the account tab,
communications preferences (left hand side navigation box),
scroll all the way to the bottom,
click open "promotions and surveys",
tick general email promotions,
press the save button at the bottom.

Doods1875
1 Dec 15#43
Yes.
But I think you've missed my point. I get offers giving me "free listings" but never get the final value fee offers. Why? Because I sell lots. They don't want to offer regular sellers these offers as they'll lose money on their ridiculous fees.
Offers such as this are to entice low level or non-existent sellers in. Ebay aren't stupid.

jsbandacb to Deeco
1 Dec 15#55
Absolute rubbish. I have a business eBay account which earns them 1000s of pounds a year (10,000 positive feedbacks over 12 years). Never got this offer... Checked a second account we have for selling our own bits and pieces, maybe 100 things a year and the offer was there for that account. In most businesses you get economies of scale, not in eBay in my experience unless you sell thousands of things a year...

I get this very often but refuse to sell on ebay anymore. After ebay fees, PayPal fees and postage better off selling via gumtree.

Cheers OP I checked on the selling page under my promotional offers and it was there waiting to be activated alongside some others I didn't know I had like free scheduling. I generally only use the Ebay app on my phone, rarely use it on a computer and the offers do not seem to be available to accept or view on the app, so glad I checked on a PC thanks to this post.

When I posted earlier to say to look under promotions at the bottom of your Ebay selling page I forget most of the population seem to do everything on a phone and I don't use mine I hate it,so stuff doesn't appear the same on the phone as oddly enough telephone numbers appear for buyers on the app when they don't appear on my pc

I have a few things the same that I would like to list. I wonder how differently I need to list them for them not be counted as multi listings?
deb8z to lins_stevo1982
2 Dec 15#69
A multi listing is just that, listing more than 1 on a buy it now won't count, you can only list one at a time, but not to be caught out with a duplicate listing as well you need to tweek the title, change one word for example.
