All mine are to use, out of all those there's only 2 Xbox and 2 PS4 pads I'm happy with, all the others have issues. I swear I didn't have this problem last gen lol.

Hahahaha controller disease is spreading  you'll notice that the really nice ones I got are staying boxed up for my collection display indefinitely

I've ended up with a couple of controllers too, ordered the silver Dualshock 4 yesterday so should have that on Monday, hopefully it's a good one, I don't collect controllers for the sake of it lol.

The DS4's have got a pxxx poor battery life I fully concur :disappointed:
I got an Xbone last week and the supplied batteries are still going strong after some heavy use over the last few days. I have got Duracell rechargeables for it anyway from the 360 days, I never bothered with the Microsoft battery packs then so not going to with this one either

Haha , I have 2 now so it's not such an issue .
They may last more than 3 hours but I don't leave my console on standby and it's about 5m away so the cable is not nearly long enough , so it always seemed to be running out of battery . Wish they would make one with a larger battery or an attachable battery pack

It's like a kid with lego blocks. Ran out of needed colors and just random filled in the rest.

They do say that, but my wife never believed me until she tried it, now she does it all the time. It really does work.

I've had my phone die at 15% and also last for ages at 1%. it depends what you're doing with it. i thought cycling was for older tech batteries and doesn't have much of an effect any more

My controllers all last for most of a days gaming session (Can get maybe 9-10 hours). Dont let your controllers continually charge, make sure to cycle the battery from empty (let it turn itself off and then leave it a few hours) to full and do this maybe 2-3 times. Then charge it when the battery gets very low, and probably once a month do a full power drain and then recharge.
This has worked for all my mobile phones and controllers, I can get at least 10-20 mins use on my iphone with it on 1% battery, a lot of my friends phones (who charge thier phone everyday) power off at 10%+.
But on topic, I have this controller and I love it! But everyone has different likes and dislikes!

Don't have any problems with my DS4 battery life. Definitely lasts more than 3 hours! newer models maybe more efficient; regardless my year old controller lasts duration of destiny sessions which is a while!

Good price for this controller , but it's not a looker is it ...hmm I would stick to the standard cheaper one . Wish they would make one where the battery lasts over 3 hours as its a pain to keep on charging every other day

Thought exactly the same thing. I want it but just can't...just not for me. Might get the anniversary edition instead or just wait a little while longer. Still a very good price though so heat added.

My controller lasts ages, not just 3hrs. Not sure what your doing.. I'd estimate about double that for mine..

You can buy a 2000MHA battery on EBay which doubles the capacity of a regular one. Some guys used to sell the controllers pre modded but I can't see it ATM.

A wise man once said: you can never have enough controllers and then battery life is not an issue :sunglasses:
