yes and no, will work on virgin but you will need to put your current virgin router into modem mode and connect this to it and use both your original router and this one.

you can use non sky router with sky you need to extract your user and password from your sky router or you can just plug your new router into your old router if that makes sense or at least the tp link one I have I can do it I have it plugged into the sky hub and the tplink is the wireless one everyone connects to as I can have stricter wireless controls on bandwidth usage etc and the skyhub doesn't broadcast wireless anymore
