Seems a great price for a 4g 16gb rom 2gb ram phone. I have the non pro version, and it's ecellent. This is from China, so will take a while to receive. Mine took about 2 weeks, and came via Post NL, so seemed to have been shipped from netherlands - seems like a sneaky way to get around VAT. This price is for the white version. Black is more. The thread below has a lot of discussions and questions answered about this phone by people that have it.

I am after 2 of these for my sons, Focalprice have poor reviews on Trust Pilot. I think i'll have to pay more and get them from Amazon.

Don't think amazon sell this phone, not sure I'd trust a marketplace seller any more than Focalprice. Most of them seem to be in China anyway. Even the UK one has a Chinese address. I felt that paying with paypal with focalprice seemed a pretty safe way to go. I guess returns are probably a nightmare though!

I'd recommend trying out Banggood. I've bought a few phones from them, and never had any problems. Or had to pay customs.

I would have no problem with a seller shipping them from China but I've left it a bit late to guarentee them for christmas maybe? I bought 2 from Amazon seller with prime delivery for Monday.

Seems to jump from £46 straight to £58.11 for the white in a split second (£53.35 no quick change in price for the black)
Curiously the white comes up at £38 on the mobile app but upon checkout switches to £58 ????
Very strange. I must be doing something wrong ?

Got my X5 from DX.com , via EU warehouse, so no customs. Absolute steal for the money. When the Chinese eventually get everything right, we`ll have no choice but to buy everything electrical from them, bang for buck is astounding.

The Chinese government allows Shenzen to have 'relaxed' labour and environmental laws so they can churn these out cheaper. That isn't the only reason though, these smaller companies can be run more efficiently and don't have massive marketing costs to worry about.

I got one the other day delivery from gearbest too , yes it comes from their Dutch warehouse ..cracking phone , lovely screen , 2 sim slots and a micro SD slot .not fully tested the camera bit seems OK with some shots I took indoors bit there is always good free camera apps .sound is brilliant too using YouTube .not the sexiest looking I would say but I'm not a mobile poser I just need something that functions well and is fairly robust . for under £50 its a cracking deal for a new phone or backup phone . I would recommend

Lol. DX don't have a physical EU warehouse, they just use the EU label as a marketing ploy for allegedly faster delivery from China via PostNL. No customs charges is pure luck, same as via DXs non-EU site, but you can buy insurance against customs charges at about 1USD per order.
