Either the software alone (there's a digital version too) or a starter pack, good prices and deals on both at the moment. Go for PS4 and re-use your base plate.

You can just buy the 3.0 software and use the existing base plate you have - think Argos had the software plus the Inside Out pack (two figures and playset) for £24.99 last week. If that helps.

You can't use the ps3 base on the ps4 so you would need a need starter set if your changing the console they play on.

I don't think that's true, I think all bases are platform agnostic except for Xbox One (not 100% mind), from the official site:

Disney Infinity bases from previous versions of Disney Infinity for the PS3™, PS4™, and Wii U™ can be used universally on Disney Infinity 3.0 Play Without Limits for the PS3™, PS4™, and Wii U™. Disney Infinity bases from previous versions of Disney Infinity for Xbox One will only work on Disney Infinity 3.0 Play Without Limits for Xbox One. Unfortunately, the FX/Light-up versions don't seem to work with this offer. I guess we'll have to wait until the 18th and hope they add them to the offer as well. If they do, then it's 70 euros more I'll have to spend.

Ok, I'll bite. These are more than just the plastic figure, they fully interact with a video game. The price of most of these is double in the UK stores and this falls just in time for Xmas, so yeah I agree with the majority here that these are a very good deal.

Very true and I find it very frustrating Disney still do this, but...you can now buy (yeah I know) the Toy Box Expansion Games, Speedway and Takeover, which all characters can play in. Along with the upcoming Marvel Battlegrounds.

I prefer the way Lego & Skylanders are doing things, but at least Disney are slowly getting there. At least this time all Star Wars characters work in all Star Wars playsets, unlike the Marvel characters at 2.0

that happened to me last week when I ordered a starter set and 3 figures they split it, and back in august the same thing happened so its common enough (at least for me) this time theyre all in one package though :smile:

just had my 6 figures delivered but two of them are damaged. the mickey mouse and yoda backing cards are not glued on and the figures are loose. amazon uk have told me to email amazon.fr because the amazon uk can not help me.
so i asked them to patch me into amazon.fr live customer service. lucky the french women could just speak english but all she offered me was a free returns label and i would have to wait for the replacements ! its too close to christmas to send it back wait the 4 days for the returns process and then get my replacements sent again. :disappointed:

stupid question time ...

My son already has the Star Wars starter pack (with the anakin and whatshername playset) and is getting the Luke and Leia playset for Christmas.

What would these additional characters let him do ? Just play with them in toy box mode ? Or can he replay the missions in the 2 playsets as any of these other characters ?

Also, if I select the 6 'original' Star Wars characters [ chewie, yoda, han solo, vader, obiwan and darth maul ] it is coming up as 40EUR + postage. does that sound right ?

Dotted around each of the Star Wars playsets are special coins that allow that playset to be played with the Star Wars character the coin relates to.

Meaning that if he has collected these coins then yes, he can replay the missions with the other Star Wars characters (if not, the coins are very easy to find so I'm sure you or he could find them with some help from google) plus he can also play them in toy box mode. But it is only Star Wars characters in the Star Wars universe, so if you bought Olaf, for example, he wouldn't be able to use him in the Star Wars playsets.

40EUR sounds about right to me, that's £28.99 according to google, which is slightly more than what I paid for my order of 6, but I got a few non-Star Wars ones that are cheaper.

Very happy, especially as managed to get the Star Wars Twilight of the Republic Set from Argos for £4.99 thanks to another post which I did on Fast-track and picked up today :smiley: Love this site but not looking forward to next months credit card bill!

I had assumed that non-SW characters wouldn't be able to play in the SW playsets but it is good to know that all the SW figures can play in any of the SW playsets. As for the 'coins', he has mentioned in the past that he has seen them often so finding them shouldn't be a problem.

From what I have read from previous posts,if you have ordered pre orders with your order as well as figures that are in stock,if you decide to split the order and not have it come as one (meaning waiting for the whole order when your pro orders come out ) then I think the delivery is a lot more,hope this is not to confusing

Contacted Amazon.fr, explained I was a Prime customer and asked if they would kindly refund the P&P, which they have.

I paid 25.84 Euros originally, and have received 4.88 Euros back.

So worked out just over £15 for 6 figures :sunglasses:

they were picked and packed damaged so its their fault. btu ive got no choice as they are for christmas for my son.

Grabbed the £6.50 2.0 starter pack just before Christmas from Amazon UK for my daughter for Christmas, along with some cheap £3 2.0 figures. Just updated to 3.0 via US PSN for around £10 and ordered the Star Wars set from Amazon UK for £10, now £20 for 6 figures. Saved a hell of a lot but still spent loads on this already just from this site!! £6.50 to £50 in a week! :confused:

I'm pretty sure it's working and I've used it more than once.
You can't use it to buy the FX Light figures or older crystal ones though.
Best thing to do is test it out with 6x a new character (eg Mulan, Kylo etc) and see if the code is active before committing to buy.
