I believe zyany is referring to the permissions to use Amazon Underground rather than the game. It allows them full access to your phone including creating new accounts and passwords and sending send SMS messages. Good deal. I purchased this ages ago when on offer for 49p. Plays brilliantly on the Shield TV.

Not sure if it is just my phone but when installing from amazon underground I get to choose all the permissions that are used. When installing from google play it tells what permissions the app is requesting and I either accept or reject (and don't install the app)
Therefore I much prefer to use amazon.
The only thing I don't like is sometimes when we are away without internet connection (abroad or just no signal) it won't let me use the apps/games unless it can get online to check that I own them.

I'm sure the developer sets the permissions and not Amazon so it will be the same wherever you get it from.
