Bit misleading, this is an expansion bundle and doesn't include the base Destiny game. That's included in the £5 more Legendary Edition.

Wasn't trying to mislead anyone, Fluxeor. Given that my son paid christ knows how much for the two expansions and TTK when they came out, it struck me that £20 for the lot wasn't a bad deal if you already had Destiny.

The Taken King Legendary Edition contains all expansions and the base game for £25 on PSN at the moment so if anyone wants that then that is the edition to go for.

Great deal , but the title for the offer could be worded a little better , 20.00 for Taken King DLC Bundle.

Will this work if I have the physical version of the original destiny ?

Stupid question, but I've got the Base game on disc, haven't touched it in a while, tempted back by this. Will a download of taken king work with my hard copy of Destiny vanilla?

or you can use CD keys and get the £20 version for about the equivalent of £17. Seeing as you are getting nothing for a trade in of the disk, what's the point in having a digital version if you already own the disk.

I already have the disc version, and can trade it for £3 at Game if I so wish. So that brings ~£22 down to £19, take off your £17 and leaves me with a ~£2 difference.

For that £2 difference:

1) it's one less game, I don't have to get off my sorry backside to change discs for
2) it loads much faster (Even more so, since I have a 1TB Hybrid Harddisk drive in my PS4)
3) one less disc to wear down the optical drive
4) I don't have to listen to the disc spinning around
5) will save space on my DVD stand after trade-in

For the sake of £2, I'm not going to lose sleep over that, for the setup I'm now using.

That's my reasoning over it anyways.

Fair points, each to their own in life, I have a 2TB (OK not a hybrid) so it's not space and lets face it the whole game is loaded onto the HD anyway. I really grudge all this DLC and fleecing people for every penny, Star wars is another one like Destiny, just charge us £50 for a game and that includes the content. it's my stubbornness that refuses to give them any more than I have to that is the root cause of all of these views! ...rant over

Good game to have on the hdd. my most played game this year.
