After the wild goose chase that was the Homebase version of this being reduced to £44.93 and then to £23 but no stock, then Argos having the EC145 at £44.99 down from an alleged £89.99 Amazon have price matched it for the EC146B - which appears to be an identical product but using a different product code to stop price matching.
It takes real coffee and pods so no worries there.

Personally I'd buy from Argos as they're not tax dodgers and you can collect locally but each to their own.
Oh and if you bought it recently from Amazon they'll do a price drop match for you to the current price !!
Note you may need to click here http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B00SWCLRPU/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new to get the £44.99 as opposed to the regular price that comes up if you click the link to the deal

Probably worth a mention that you can get the Argos one delivered the same day, where as you're waiting a month for this one at the quoted price via tax dodging Amazon.
