The undead curse continues to spread across the kingdom of Drangleic with Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin. Developed by renowned Japanese studio From Software and published by Bandai Namco Games, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin is the ultimate Dark Souls II experience, adding to the 2014's critically acclaimed title not only its three DLC chapters – Crown of the Sunken King, Crown of the Old Iron King, and Crown of the Ivory King – but also an array of all-new content.
Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin will add brand new game content, including an expanded story featuring additional in-game events and NPC character, along with new deadlier enemies and gameplay improvements. It will also take advantage of the power of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One system to provide enhanced graphics for those specific platforms on top of several additional exclusive enhancements.

Its not so much hard as it is rewarding.. its how games used to be pre millennium, you need patience and ability but man its rewarding when you do it..

Nope. Dark souls 2 (in terms of gameplay) is nothing like those two. Watch some gameplay; it'll help give you an idea of the gameplay. Aside from that it's tough (very tough) but fair

I love From Software. I have got the Platinum Trophy in Demon's and Bloodborne.
People exaggerate the difficulty.
When I first played Demon's I got my **** handed to me. You will eventually become cautious in how you play and that is the first step in getting good. You learn enemy placement, how to evade certain attacks.
Some bosses are hard for some, easy for others. I battered Vicar Amelia but some people find her hard. I spent 6 hours on Ornstein and Smough and had to give up my NG+ because I couldn't beat them the second time. Watchdog of the Old Lords in the Chalice Dungeon took me longer than 6 hours.
Nothing beats the feeling of triumph you get though when you finally lay the smackdown on some jabroni who has battered you for hours on end.
The story is similar to games like Shadow of the Colossus. They don't really tell you too much, it is shrouded in mystery and reading up on the lore is half the fun.
If you have a PS3 you have to get Demon's and DS1, some of the best games ever made.

How does this compare to Bloodborne?
Might get this but on the fence atm.

If Bloodborne was your introduction to this type of game, personally I think you'll find the pace and combat of Dark Souls less rewarding. I know I did.

Bloodbone is faster paced and less of a fantasy and more of a lovecraftian inspired tale.
Dark souls is a dark fantasy with a much more expansive world and slower pace, you'll most likely like it if you liked bloodborne, you'll just have to slow your pace down.

Not as quick paced. The upgrading and weapon selection is more varied as is the levelling system. I think it's harder than Bloodborne but I guess that's "just my opinion man". It'd be interesting to get someone's thoughts on Dark Souls 2 who hasn't played the original as it gets a lot of hate in the community, there are valid reasons for that but I enjoy both games immensely.

You get a basic game with dlc codes. DLCs are not on the disk which is bad imo
