Just a heads up for people, If you took this deal as an add on and not a new contract the usual full years membership money was taken from my CC ( $69.99 ) Phoned Cleverbridge and they refunded without an issue. Said it must be a Technical glitch.

That's not the premium version. It's the special edition, which only has 5 or so countries I believe. Premium has much more. Still, good deal for what it is.
I tried that mate but the same. The login I use for NBC add on lives in New York so I only really connect there. On the premium there are about 15 connected. When I was on free was 70 connected but was faster!

Anyone use this and try it? Getting terrible speeds. Around 1/5th of my broadband speed of 50 meg. I was getting faster using the free version. Connected to USA servers.

There are 74 servers in the USA. Turn off Automatic mode and try connect to the servers manually, until you find one with decent speeds. This is usually the server with the least people connected.

Seems a little OTT to change ISP just because of that. Use Opera browser in Turbo / off-road mode and there is no blocking. Same on Opera for Android and IOS. Also UC Browser on Android & IOS. No doubt other simple solutions are available.

I use the free version of this for KODI as i have an American login for NBC. Problem is only get around 10MB down and can't really keep up with the stream on HD quality.
Could i achieve 40-50MB on the premium servers?
I would want to use it on my phone away from home. currently have Windows 640 but will be looking for android at Black Friday. Anyone use it on Android phones?
I have a Billion 7800n router, can i set it up so my whole connection goes through this using PPTP VPN on the router?
If i can do this, would you advise setting it up so when i'm out on my phone, to VPN into my home connection?
I should only really be VPN on one device at a time, so seems bit of an overkill to set up the router in this way.

Technically I still have an account with CG because they wouldn't give a refund! I have used a number of VPN over the years (mostly paid for) and I signed up with CG when they had a special on offer - big mistake! It is by far the worst VPN I have ever used - slow to the point of being worthless. Not only that but I couldn't even use it to free up geo locked sites like Pandora because their servers were known and locked out - when I contacted their helpline about this they just basically said why not find another site?
I'm currently using PIA which is excellent and allows me through geo locked sites no problem; same can be said for Boleh too but CG is a dead loss.

tried this and find it slow, so slow that you couldn't watch Iplayer through it and had to keep installing the vpn, went with private internet access and have had speeds of up to 90Mb on a 100Mb service and never had to reinstall, costs a little more but worth it.

Hot for that price. I've used them for a year when it was c. £30 a year. Connection wasn't to stable and was dropping a lot. I use nordvpn now, which is £3 a month, not as fast but a lot more stable.

Good deal and I do like Ghost VPN... but premium should include at least 3 device support... most people have a desktop, phone and maybe a tablet/laptop, which they wouldn't be using all at the same time putting strain on the servers.

I had major problems with these people when I had a years deal with them. Had to reinstall Windows and they refused point blank to help when the serial wouldn't work. "It's being used" they said - YES. BY ME ! I said. They still wouldn't help.

I had cyber ghost for a year and I didn't really rate it much. At 1st I always had it running and when using kodi it seemed to cause a lot of buffering issues till I switched cyber ghost off. Also if I remember right make sure u screen shot account information and save it otherwise to get back into your account when you forget your password is a lot of hassle.

I can only speak as i find with the VPN that i subscribe to. At the moment i haven't had a single issue - BUT - they are apparently banned from HUKD. I think this is because they're not considered a "proper" company. I tried to share the deal I took a few months ago but it was immediately removed.
They've got 42 worldwide locations as well.
I haven't been using them long enough and often enough to know if things start going pear shaped the more data I use, but maybe that's not such a bad thing I suppose :smiley:
