Yeah, because it'd cost me an arm and a leg in shipping.

I've only been in three times and the last time there was a break of around 9 months since my last visit - I had no problems going in as regards having my membership possibly cancelled. One thing I'd like to say, is that I'm self-employed and all I had to take in was an official letter from HMRC which just showed that I did my own tax return. However, when I registered I was asked if any other family members would like a card as well - so I got one for my daughter and my mother (didn't need any paperwork for them) - and my daughter has a different surname to mine and no problems there either. So maybe, somebody who can register could possibly get a card or two for another family member or a friend when they get their card.

£11.98 for 48 rolls. So 25p/roll. Or £4 for 16. Not such a great deal.

Not as good as the Costco deal at £9.58 inc vat for 40 rolls - when it's on of course!

Anyway, I eventually voted hot, because a good deal is a good deal.
I'd have voted sooner, but I was touching cloth at the time, and I was all out of tracing paper.

If its plus vat this deal should be amended!

Makro recently has been taken over by Brookers and for Joe Public has gone serverely downhill - especially the one near me. What's more surprising is that whilst it has been more refocused towards businesses pricing is quite steep for a wholesaler!

I've had a Makro card for over 30 years and it use to be really good price wise and quality, now its been taken over by Bookers its cut its range of products down and most things can be bought just as cheap at normal retailers. Its the one in Sheffield that I go to,saying that I haven't been for over a year now.

My makro in enfield went down hill, lots of products discontinued. The layout is better and do like clean pro range, but that is it.

Expensive place to shop.Almost everything is cheaper elsewhere. Used to be good back back in the day

Doesn't that price exclude vat?

Great price but should be corrected as it doesn't include VAT

I've got a makro card, and everything seems cheap until you add the VAT . Only thing worth buying at makro is the food, everything else is cheaper elsewhere or online, including toilet rolls

I bought from charlton today and almost certain there was VAT. Picked up a few other bits but will check the invoice tomorrow. As toilet roll should have VAT applied.

There is usually vat on toilet rolls. Makro Nantgarw looks like it's getting ready to close down, half the floor area boarded off, cafe hours reduced, ranges reduced.

Cushelle is simply THE best and at 25p a roll, it's hot, hot, HOT

21 Dec 15#33
Yes although I think its hot...Cushelle has the least number of sheets per roll amongst the leading brands, so wouldnt be as good as say Andrex or Triple Velvet for the same price/number of rolls...(so ive been told)

1p more to be exact, plus VAT. Therefore, shouldn't the above price be £11.98 then?
