I have a white simplehuman 40 litre, slimline bin which I bought to fit in a narrow under worktop space, for my recycling. The texture of the plastic means its VERY VERY difficult to get clean. The metal clip to open it and "lock" it and the foot pedal were both pitted with rusty looking marks in under a year. The pedal is also really stiff. I would never buy a simplehuman bin again. I have a metal 50 litre Brabantia with plastic lid and apart from being bashed around in a house flitting, it's like new, after about six years. I would highly recommend them (though I bought mine on offer and with my tesco clubcard vouchers).

Got one of these, had to drill holes in the bottom as otherwise a well filled bin bag would create a vacuum and was difficult to pull out.

nice click and collect ordered easier to pick this up myself than wait in for delivery. Mrs has been moaning about our white ikea bin for too long.

pretty good bin. bought one two years ago from amazon that came with a five year warranty. the lid became stuck, i emailed them and they posted me a new lid. pretty good service.
