My local takeaway has always done free delivery on currys. We tip them at this time of year though.

I was under the impression my order was next day delivery only there idea of next day on my occasion was 17 days with no communication from them and no reply from emails , more like don'tknowhow

Except anything from their extended range... I ordered a hob last wednesday and they sent an email saying it would be delivered on Monday. I booked a plumber to install it on wednesday and waited in on monday for it to arrive which it didn't!

I called up and they said it was part of their extended range and it says on their website that it would take longer. Why send me an email saying it's going to be delivered on monday then!!! And also say free next day delivery on any order too!!! I ended up picking up a hob from elsewhere and cancelling the order, then after all that - found out that I'd acutally booked the plumber for the wednesday the 23rd as he wasn't free the wednesday before!!! Doh!!!

I'm going to make an order on Christmas Eve just for the hell of it.

Bought a new camcorder for £299 from Curries, received a Pebble Watch Strap worth about £40. Had a nightmare trying to get it sorted. Turned out they had no camcorders left and refunded me in the end. Was a long process tho...

Don't bother. I had to wait in 3 times for a promised delivery and complain to their head office before my hob was finally delivered! After 2nd failed delivery I asked them to deliver the next day and got told that was impossible!!

They should do this more often. Would be handy for those people putting 50inch TVs in the back of a ford kA or other small cars. Then again it gives me something to do when out shopping

How long will this last? Till Boxing Day hopefully?
